I learned permaculture in the early '80's & I've been at it ever since. This year I started using earthworms to recycle - paper shredder for all paper (worms love paper - newspaper, cardboard boxes, office paper) & veg kitchen scraps. Then earthworms eat all that, turn it into super-duper growing medium for plants & next for me, gourmet mushrooms!!
