The rhondda is a dumb you can clearly see how shabby that place is with the terrace housing. Half of you probably still have coal fires. The most beautiful valley in South Wales would be the Llynfi valley.

thats all well and good from your computer chair in england, dont forget that rhondda only looks the way it does because of its industrial past. merthyr and the rhondda valley provided all the coal and steel neccessary for the industrial revolution, so infact you could say that modern civilisation sprang from this area and spread worldwide. What your looking at my uninformed ignorant english friend is the heart of the modern world , still beating, only just mind you, but beating nonetheless.
