@fefix13 I was actually very much impressed by the girl in True Grit, I think she did extremely well considering what you usually see from child actors. However, she's 13, she's got decades ahead of her, and no one knows if her role in this movie was a fluke or whatever. Mila has proved that she's put a crapload of work into improving her skillset. That being said, the fact that Grand Torino and Avatar were nominated for best movie last year proves that the Oscars mean NOTHING anymore.
