Picking and placing blocks at random no longer gives the gamer a sense of control. Hes more a pschological greifer. And its called enderman because it was based off Slenderman, a fake Cryptid started on something awful, picked up by 4chan, and made up in a contest for best cryptid (creatures that just might exist like bigfoot)

I'm still probably classified as a noob, but as far as I can tell/as far as I've observed, sometimes Endermen don't get angry at you in particular when they're trapped.They seem to have no way of getting back at you.(This is my third piece of supporting evidence for this statement--two other videos containing trapped Endermen involve the presence of several players and a trapped Enderman, which has been looked at several times and has not once shed a single black sparkle or shaken with rage).

I think the problem with endermen is notch didn't make them rare enough, I think they should have a very low spawn rate, maybe the same amount as wolfs, be much more responsive (one look and your dead), more elusive, maybe not use the end and not have the purple bits, and make sure the staring goes on for longer and the teleporting keeps going, so they don't loose interest, they just hunt you down until either you die or they do!

The reason the track is floating is because the enderman took it. If you recall he did take a stone block (griefing) wich is what was under that track.
