@AlbieGray I use to work at a club Kaye was performing at in West Hollywood called The Backlot. Kaye was very funny and charming. A lot of big stars came to see her show Elizabeth Montgomery and her husband Roger Paxton? Ceaser Romero , Carol Channing, Martha Raye and many others. She did impersonations and sang. I loved every show! Kaye stayed for a week and it was something I'll never forget! Her poster said "Hey Ma" Mrs Ballard signed my poster and I still have it! ;0)

I bought that at Barnes and Noble, and it's my all-time favorite DVD. one of her catchphrases that she's used over the years, "Good Luck with your mouth!" has kind of become one of mine as well, especially when I get mad. You sound like a nice person. :)

When I was a kid if you were on tv, then our whole family was watching, something we rarely did together. When "The Mothers-in-Law" was on, it was an even in our house. Though my mother always sort of turned her nose up at tv, she thought you really nailed how a REAL wife would act

when not too pleased with her husband and I've seldom seen her and my dad laugh harder than when enjoying you. Thank you for giving us so much laughter and love.
