Does anyone know whether know if Mickey actually meant to kill Eddie because I heard he didn't, he just moved the gun towards Eddie and the police thought he was going to shoot him and so they shot Mickey, which triggered him to shoot Eddie... please help!

@janeparfitt Thank you! I actually read the script ( we have it at school ) and all it says is, "Mickey gestures the gun toward Eddie, blowing him apart" which could really mean either I suppose, what do you think?

Saw blood Brothers in Bristol last night, 3/3/12, was a fab show, all the cast were great and Maureen was superb. It's a show I've seen many times, it will go on forever - go see it if you get the chance.

I saw Maureen in Blood Brothers at the Bristol Hippodrome last night...her performance was incredible! the way her voice cracks with emotions during the first verse is just so believable. I was in tears watching it!

I was talking about it with my parents and friend after in the que to pay for our parking when Maureen came up behind us, to join the que, and we got talking with her...such a lovely woman!

@FearlessRLC96 I saw it last night at the Bristol hippodrome (1st March) and I agree, she was absolutely outstanding! Who played Eddie in yours because I think mine might have been an understudy.

I have seen this show too many times to mention, i have seen many people play Mrs Johnstone. I was lucky enough to work front of house at the Phoenix in 2006 when Maureen was 1st Mrs Johnstone.... I can really say she is the most amazing, and most heartfelt Mrs Johnstone. They need to make a new cast recording, with Maureen as Mrs Johnstone, and Vivienne Carlysle as Mrs Lyons!

I saw Bernie and Linda and they were both brilliant. I'd love to see Maureen in the role. If this is anything to go by she must have been wonderful.

Vivienne does have a great voice. Ive seen Kiki Dee, Barbara Dickson, Stephanie Lawrence and Siobhan McCarthy they are all amazing, but Maureen has warmth and depth to her voice and an emotion that no other can compare to!
