no, an AC-130 is an attack variant, the weaponry sacrificing much of the cargo capacity of the standard C-130. Others are the tanker KC-130, Recon WC-130 and Super C-130J. @holycrapith Yes, I am serious. Thank you for letting me know what CoD was. I have to tell you that I don't know what it is because I learned about AC/MC-130 because I was actually in the Marines. I was in real helecopters and planes and shot real guns rather than sat on the couch with a game controller. I would recomend it to anyone. I had a great time. Just say no to the video games and join up and see what a rush the real thing is.

For all of you who don't know, the difference between the two is this: A C-130 is a CARGO plane. Hence the designation C(for Carrier)-130. An AC-130 is a variant of the C-130 that has been fitted with weapons and other equipment that better prepares it for actual combat missions, such as flares, different types of electronics, etc. That's the difference.
