I was in Copa'n this summer. We had to leave a little early because of the coup. We didn't find out about it until a day later, because Michael Jackson had just died and it blanketed the media. If you go you should ask for the guide Saul! Go to the falls outside of town if you get a chance. The falls are beautiful and its a good swim too.

I visited Copan last year, and bought this CD (IndoMaya)after wandering through the streets of Copan in the evening, and hearing this wonderful music being played live. The ruins were fantastic, well worth the long bus rides. (and I saw my lifer Cinnamon Hummingbird there!)
