The Stones Outdid 90% of their albums with Steel Wheels. They returned to their roots for Bill Wyman on this, his last album with the Stones. Every track is a gem. Tho some shine more, all are gems. Don't know why it didn't get the airplay it deserved back then. Or, were the Stones not getting new fans back then, during HairMetal's day in the sun?

This is one of the most beautiful ballads that I've ever heard. This is also one of, if not the BEST albums that the Stones have ever done. They really have a string of Great songs on it. Also very well recorded. The whole band got it together for Bill Wyman to leave on a very high note.

My father was a tough/hard man. Old school. This song came on one day. He said to me out of the blue, "Only a man could have written such a song." I suppose what he meant is that men have elephantine memories for the most poignant losses and their particularities, e.g. "feel your tongue on mine..." @thespeez I just think that the radio stations had played a huge part on that. They were drunk on Nirvana and pearl jam that they forgot who in the hell the masters are. Just like today. I understand the generation stuff. I went through that growing up. There is some amazing stuff being done by the classic rock bands today. Although i notice they play more mainstream music during working hours of course. They gotta survive too... money is still too important... ;)
