My day job involves dental technology - nothing to do with the automotive industry.Nevertheless, I love videos demonstrating great tech professionals such as this.Real inspiration & pride in a job well done - great motivation for all working in tech., no matter in which industry.
Funny how everything ages well where there is no road salt. Add salt to the equation and even Porsche falls in stature. Now, on a larger scale, if the Sun didn't shine for 30 odd yrs. that would be problematic.
Question - isn't heat a factor in causing fuel to gum up? I thought the heat caused vapor and when the fuel fell out of suspension or perhaps what is left behind when it vaporizes, you get the gum. Or maybe that is varnish. Or maybe that is the same thing. Either way, I always thought that gasoline without heat was pretty stable. 36 years stable like this? No. That is amazing.
