  • what the crap do they make those balls they roll around in out of?!? To survive THAT impact?!?

  • I've got a video showing an impact 10 times as fast (which, if the laws of physics are any indication, means 100 times the energy). The clock had to be stopped for that, however. The fastest you can get an impact with without stopping the clock is inchworms - 1450 mph.

  • It's been around 100 million seconds since this was posted, but if I recall, it took like 5 takes, if not more. I was going on take 500 by the time I managed to get the 4500 mph case, my current record.

  • You make it look so easy.

  • This isn't the best way for the red goal. While I no longer recall the exact timing, start by dashing through the red and green goal areas as this video shows then stopping at the far end of the board furthest from the last ring. With a certain timing, make a mad dash for it and, with, at one time, a 98% success rate, I was able to get the red goal. Getting tossed up high was only for fun though. Too high and you fall out due to annoying invisible walls (seen with debug mode).

  • @ulillillia I mean that when someone surprisingly doesn't fall off the stage when your flying all over the place, but this is really cool :)

  • @koolbbruno It is not that hard.

  • is it possible to land on the pirate ship?

  • No, it's passable (though I wished you not only could land on that, but everything outside).

  • I know that would be awesome if they let have have the choice of unlimited time after you beat the stage and if they made all objects solid, even if there was nothing to find it would be fun to just explore xD

  • If only I had something like SharkLink for Action Replay, I may find a code that forces collision detection with everything, and another that sets the fallout point to -5000 instead of -300 at the low end. This would allow full exploration of everything. When combined with jumping, that would add so much replay value. Get hit by the 2000 mph roller coaster (estimated), get thrown around by the waves in the whale, explore the forest (that's my favorite one) or the city - I'd love to do that!

  • That would be amazing, hopefully someone will come out with a code that can do that and if they do you should make sure to make a video of it!

  • Something like SharkLink for Gamecube AR has got to exist - how else can someone find the memory address containing the specific variable to obtain codes, even those not provided by AR itself? Trouble is, searches lead me nowhere.

  • Who says monkeys cant fly?

  • @wollywog42 The same person who said pigs can't fly.

    :]

  • oh that makes sense

  • epic music

  • Can You get to the ship ?

  • Oddly, you can't even land on it because you go through it as if it wasn't there, like almost all of the outside scenery (which disappoints me).

  • sweet :)

  • this happend to me once...

  • Amazing. How many tries did it take to get the correct bounces and make it into the goal?

  • If you haven't seen my 4500 mph video, you should. I successfully make the bounces (and far, far faster than this). I'm a master when it comes to falls. I very rarely miss, once every 20 times or so. It's getting tossed up initially, without fallout occurring, that's much more difficult. It took 5 hours to get the 4500 mph video. This case was take 4 or so.

  • Wow. Just wow.

  • This is slow compared to my other stunts. One look at the 2400 mph or even 4500 mph videos (both of bead screen) will make you think three times over about this measely stunt. Think about it. This is just 400 mph or so. 4500 mph is more than 11 times faster providing around 125 times the height.

  • i love goingg high on the smb series

  • Perhaps you should watch my "SMB2 getting high" playlist, of which contains all known cases where great speed and height are possible.

  • zomg, you hit the wall at the top of the level...

  • Do you mean the invisible walls that cause "fallout" when they're touched? I'm actually a little below them at this point. Or... do you mean the cliff face?

  • I did a High Stunt too

  • Which one? There's 5 stages where you can get unusually fast and high (this one doesn't really count): bead screen (world 5-5 only; the fastest at 4500), inchworms (advanced 8 is the easiest though still possible in world 2-8; 1350 mph), dizzy system (master extra 9 - cannot be reproduced at will (yet); 1300 mph) organic form (both versions; 950 mph), and pendulums (expert extra 7 I believe; 800 mph). I've got videos of each of these, all in a playlist as well.

  • Never thought of doing it that way.And I would've laughed if you got it right in the goal after the bounce off the wall without touching the floor.

  • Its Fake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • It's not fake: try it yourself. Put the game in the GameCube, your memory card, turn the GameCube on, start the game in practice mode, and choose either world 3-6 or advanced stage 16 and try it.

  • You forgot to tell him to read your post, with his eyes, by opening his lids, but first getting on the internet, and a number of other tedious things. If you're going to go, go all out.

  • no its not. ive tried it myself and it works quite well.

  • EPIC MANUEVER!

  • ouch
