The blood wasn't even tracked well, the smoke was way too dark, there wasn't even a GUNSHOT sound

Can someobdy please help me? I use sony Vegas Pro 10, and when I import my blood assets that came with Action Essentials 2, they are very light, and nearly transparent. There are at 100% occupancy so I cant find a way to fix it, but they wont even show up in the final rendered project unless in front of a well lit, white background. Clicking " add " instead of " screen" for compositing mode doesn't fix the problem either. somebody please respond, thanks.

hey, looks good. when i do it i drop the stock footage in and use blending mode to get rid of the black, but the blood/mist goes really transparent, do you or anyone know how to do it so its not opaque when you put the stock footage in? I can see from your vid that its not opaque...

@TreeHuggingAirsofter well you just have to find an image of an flesh wound if you have action essantials theres one in there but you can just google ''flesh wound'' now all you need is to scale it down place it in right position then you can use keyframing to make it follow the face or you can use tracking. then you wanna use some color correction, i think the curves is easiest to use make sure to match the color of the flesh wound image whit your footage. and thats all i think

@ChuckBorrisSkate I'm not the guy who made this but he probably used a powder hit or a particle hit. I use it also in some of my videos. You just tint the footage to red by using hue and saturation. Just play around with the Settings and you will get the right color.

@paul0wn4life I'd also recommend speeding this up a little bit... and if you want to make it even more real, try making your own. Use flour and a shitty airsoft gun. Load the barrel with it and fire it on a green screen... key green out and tint it and ur done!
