Second, A civilized nation we are, but we are not going to sit idly by while mud is being kicked in our face. WE ARE AT WAR!!! Just because bombs aren't going off in our back yards doesn't mean it's not happening. First of all, terrorist are not on a mission to kill Americans and our interest for "Religious" reasons! I am sick of seeing that, radical terrorists are killing Americans because we are a free nation and allow our women to have a free way of life and are able to speak their minds. They attack our interests because they either have similar life styles or support our way of life. Their religion is nothing but a twisted version of what Muslims are not.

Right wing neo cons are the American home grown terrorist example timothy Mcveigh, the guy that killed the abortion doctor, the guy that killed one person in a church and shot a few other, the person that shot and killed a security guard at a fed building a few days ago. the list goes on. Al quaida kills for religeous reasons and so does the right wing neo cons are they any different?

Im kind of split. In all seriousness, I think O'Reilly is actually kind of correct. Whether we like it or not, America is at war. People are planning and trying to kill us every day. What do we do about that? Go to afghanistan? Not go to afghanistan? Profile Muslims? Make security harder for everybody? Bomb training camps? Do we treat them as enemy combatants or as criminals? Arent they both? Do we take the fight to them or tighten up security? Some of these are hard questions, some not so hard.

@Jesse9063 Your correct in you questions. We've already taken the fight to them. We've stird the hornets nest and now they are pissed, they want to kill us more than ever. Unfortunately, terrorists don't have a face, they don't wear a uniform, so they are harder to spot. We as citizens can only do one thing at this point, be prepared, be aware of your surroundings, because when they attack, you see it coming. The Government can only do so much on a larger scale, but in the end, it's all on us.

No, you cant capture all the terrorists. Bin Laden himself stated he respects freedom loving people and democracy. He just takes issue with foreigners installing dictators in power and supplying them with WMD (Saddam) and supporting Saudi Arabia who are dictators and supporting China who are communists. I think O'rilley does have one point. another serious attack will erode support for obama among independants, perhaps enough to keep him from getting re-elected. I just think torture wouldnt make the US any safer.

This confirms what I've suspected for so long -- O"Reilly is a secret Al Qaeda plant! Think about it -- everything Bill says to do would actually work against us -- is that an accident? Bill wants Gitmo kept open, and Obama now has intelligence info confirming that Gitmo is an Al Qaeda recruiting tool. Bill wants us to continue the torture, even though it doesn't work. Bill also doesn't think much of the American system of justice, does he? Why? Because he's really working for the terrorists!

the undisputable fact is that under 1 year of obama's tyranical reign, we have already had more terrorist attacks than we had under bush's 8 years (bush was elected by this country unlike obama by the way) and i think if obama continues to dither in iraq, continue to be sympathetic to terrorists, and continues to let americans die so he can seize more political power, then i believe we would have a strong case for impeachment to put a real american and a christian back in that great office

I think we can all say that O'Reilly is a complete idiot. It's almost hilarious with the way that he behaves, acting like he knows everything that he's talking about while he's just watching from the sidelines and shouting little jokes like a 6 year-old. I feel deep shame on the entire Fox News channel, knowing that they're so foolish with what the say. O'Reilly, if you want to do something, why don't you go slap them on the face, since you really do like to talk a lot.

Cenk, you're forgetting what was revealed about the watch-lists in the past. They are a sham. The government will not put the most dangerous people onto those lists, because those lists go out to airports, and if they get leaked, then people will know they are being watched. The security services don't want that to be leaked in order to keep building evidence.

The attacks by al qaeda were being plotted back in the early 90s. To them The United States is a nation of infidels, citizens who blithely participate in the persistent attacks on the Muslim way of life and the desecration of Islamic holy sites, so attacks on U.S. citizens are appropriate exceptions to the rule of peace taught in the Qur'an. They hate our way of life, they hate our freedom of religion and U.S.-led sanctions against Iraq and that U.S. has been a strong supporter of Israel
