  • fruits = fructose = carbohydrates

    and the syrup in the fruit cup is worse than almost anything because its simple sugars which get stored as fat... those portions should be ok as theres not a whole lot there

  • i would cut the fruit cup out only because theres ALOT of sugar like corn syrup thats REALLY REALLY bad for you so cut that out

  • dryed fruits arnt healthyer. you get a lot of hydration from fruit. so you dont from dyed

    plus most of them are litraly half sugar.

    you should eat your dinner later, if you have dinner at 6 your going to end up eating befor bed.

    and sugar is low cal yes, but its high sugar and no need to be sucking down all this befor you sleep

  • i recommend you not to eat dried fruits at midnight because they have lots of fructose in them which are monosaccharides and are directly absorbed into your bloodstream which leads your sugar level to go up ---> unnecessary energy ---> fat

    100g of dried fruits have about 250kcal

  • one thing, vitamin c keeps u awake so if u wanna sleep in the night, u shouldn't eat anything that contains vitamin c right after sleeping.

All fruit has natural sugar so pretty much your just having a lot of sugar plus the fruit cup thing, has a lot of sugar, if you want to have a mid night meal just have a proteinn shake or even better just water and go to bed to get rid of the hunger

  • Almost all fruit cups are loaded with added sugar. Most dried fruit is loaded with sugar too! ahhh..The caffeine in green tea will keep you up.

  • it depends on ur metabolism the hours that u mustnt eat before night.it could be 2 hours or less....nice recipe i like dried figs with raisins and nuts.3 hours before night i eat about 60 sliced mni dried breads 150 grams of raisins 4 apples or other fruits 0.5 l of milk 150g.cereal corn flakes and 200 or sometimes 400 grams of turkey with ketchup and mustard.i drink 5 green tea but i use them twice.but i exercise every day 7 hours and i want to gain weight.

  • i am not trying to be mean or anything but i know that dried fruit usually has TONS of sugar and carbs, regular fruit would be alot healthier and it is all natural. not to mention that most regular fruits and veggies have alot of carbs too. that is why people on a no carb diet usually eat meat, and dont eat alot of fruits and veggies.

  • Come up with some meals like for lunch or breakfast, or even some snacks for during the day. I'm not a veggie fan but I try to eat them as much as possible

  • I love everything on here except apricots and green tea. I have to pour a TONE of sugar into my green tea to drink it... So I take green tea pills :)

  • You could try vegies such as cucumbers, tomatoes with salt and add a little zest to it by sprinkling some lemon on top, its a nice way of eating healthy. Also you could try a multigrain cracker it is very low salted ( however it is a carb) i would avoid carbs 3 hours prioor to bed, they are the more fattening snacks lol

  • Green tea is very good from you I drink my tea everyday it's also very good for your hair drink it every day for six months straight or more cause is good for u and you can tell the difference my hair is growing faster now n I'm getting regular on my every month visit which I wasn't so I think is thanks to the green tea : D

  • Low fat is good, however it can still add to muffin top or turn it into fat, eat it 3 hours prior to bedtime though if you want to eat it. Or you could have a low fat vanilla yogurt.

  • @siderasuperstar hey, a little fyi, you can't avoid carbs in your diet. glucose is essential for proper nervous and muscular function. and the best to eat is polysaccharides, like your veggies and grains. not fruit, those are simple carbohydrates like your fructose, galactose, maltose and sucrose. the only thing that does not contain carbohydrates is meat. just read a little bit on the information out there before posting stuff. you could hurt your body by avoiding certain foods.

  • Yay for Billy Blanks!!!! Tae-bo is the best way to loose weight smiling! I love Tae-bo, it's never boring! Although that much fruit contains lots of lots of glucose. I suggest you should sking the driy ones. I usually eat carb once a day and for dinner I eat only vegetables or an apple/grapefruit and drink only mineral water. I lost 26pounds since August.

  • not to popular but: I love beetroot and every kind of pickled vegetables. Sometimes I eat coldcuts with them. But I eat tomatoes and cucumber every day. Maybe I love them so much because I have never eaten them till i was around 20...

  • i started not eating after 6pm but its super hard not to. especialy when i get bored.i eat cucumbers too.

  • I know but after a while it'll become easier believe me. i always take a shower, wash my hair, make phone calls, cleaing a bit or reading in the evening to keep myself busy. I also eat sometimes the white part of the boiled egg because that's only 10calorie, the yolk has 58 per piece!!!

  • i didnt know it was 10 calories! holy smoke. I will be eating 2 eggs per day and only 1 egg yolk!

  • lol, cereal is a killer before bed, just eat it in the morning with an egg and some fresh fruit. I just ate all that food i feel energetic but i have got to sleep haha
