No, the "kiddy-like WWE" started way back in like mid-2005 or probably 2006. Why? because that's about the time when John Cena's character went from the cutting-edge rapper with a good gimmick to this "marine-ish goodie goodie" gimmick. I didn't mean I didn't want the crowd to boo him. I meant they didn't really give much of a reaction to it because most of those fans probably didn't know much about Foley's history in the old ECW.

True, Cena's character did become very one-dimensional, but the company as a whole was still a ton more risque than it is now. Plus, you gotta remember, a lot of people didn't follow ECW, especially back in 94-96, when Foley was in the company. So it's not just an age thing, it's just that a lot of early ECW isn't as widely known moreso than the promotion itself.

The crowd makes me sick. I want to say it is all a bunch of dumb little kids and Cena marks disrespecting him while he speaks but I was only 8 when I first watched Foley and Sabu fight in ECW back in the day and I will respect this man forever. I blame WWE for giving fans 1 min shit promos all the time and making them used to those insead of a prom that told a story. Foley is god and ECW was the stuff.Although this promo is not as good as his "anti-hardcore" promos in ECW you can sense the old Cactus Jack spirit.Damn WWE ruined something great, something that made wrestling.And the marks in the crowd don't realize that the things that Foley says are true, they just take it as just another promo to fill the tv time.Hats down for Mick!!!

Foley's such a great talker. I always hated Flair and never understood when people call him a great wrestler and talker.
