He was set to appear but there were time constraints. And to be honest I think despite what Sakurai said about DLC there will be downloadable characters, just like there are downloadable stages & stuff daily. It may become available through that, would I be 100% wrong to suggest this after a firm "No DLC" but then daily wifi downloads such as snapshots, stages & videos.

Lucario can't learn any pshychic attacks, while Mewtwo

There is one thing that suddenly hit me recently: What if the American roster ends up being different from the Japanese roster? I was only thinking this because the American version suddenly got a delay when the Japanese version came out on schedule, which seems to imply some sort of change exclusive to the American version. Granted it could just be a de-bug or something only needed by the U.S. version, but nevertheless, anything is possible.

Which brings up another point, that Mewtwo picture is probably COMPLETELY fake. I'm not sure how expansive the SSE is, but I'd imagine there's probably one, MAYBE two bosses per franchise. Probably only two for Mario. If so, we already have Rayquaza and thus Mewtwo probably isn't a boss.
