take a can of wet dog food, chicken flavor. Punch holes in it with a nail, and thread a line through it. Insert that into the water, make sure you can get it out with the line. Now get Tyson Chicken Livers and put that on an offset shank hook, 4/0. Lead that line to the bottom, and get ready to start reeling in some big catfish.

i use a live bluegill about 3in and just cast it out and dont touch it. I caught about 7-8 pund catfish doing this. i just catch the bluegill

that is classfied as a catfish. if u going to fish for cats They r Blue, Channel, Shovel or Flatheads and whites.. never hear of a mekon in the us.. it is one of the fake cats over seas..

Damn!! I usually just add a sinker then the hook. I tie the sinker on then take the sinker wrap it around my line and pull it through the loop the hook should be tied to the line pefectly. I never used leeters are any of that other mumbo jumbo. I usually use size 3 treble hook with chicken livers. to keep the livers on I usually use coffee filters.
