I know nearly nothing about Dragon Ball Z, can someone tell me why the hell Goku's voice was like that? Is it for some special reason or something? Oh and for the comments that say stuff like "Vergil needs to win" it's a damn game. It's not like it was staged or anything
@SuperSonicBoom010 his voice is like that cuz its the japanese voice and its voice by a girl not a guy i know its wierd and stuff but idk lol but it gets some time to get used to it just incase if your still wondering okay
@SuperSonicBoom010 Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragonball, wanted the voice of Goku in the original Japanese version to be child-like and pure of heart in nature. Kids have pure and innocent voices, and women are generally used to voice kids in cartoons/anime. Goku's voice actress also voiced him as an adult and voiced Gohan and Goten to continue to show that even as an adult he was pure of heart (although she did deepen her voice more while voicing adult Goku).
