I use polyvinylsiloxane dental putty. It comes in two parts, you mix it together and it sets really quickly into a rubber like consistency. It is what the dentist uses to make impressions of your teeth. It is the best thing I have found, after many years of experimentation.

What do you use for a mouth piece? It doesn't look like beeswax.
