Germans, Japanese, Brits, Russians, Asians, Indians (from India) and a host of others I have either met or have seen in Santa Fe. Sure, it's not the New York metro area, nothing can compare to that, but please put your "citiness" aside if you are going to stay in New Mexico for awhile, otherwise you will miss the experience.
