@polloarg Your attitude is funny :) Hey don't be so harsh on yourself. LOL. People like you give me - the curious chicken shit a treat. Hahaha. I'm always curious about graves and stuff like that but too scared to even come near. LOL. So you did the dirty job :D Thanks ;)
@Miketayfan Hehehe! You're welcome! And, if you ever come to Argentina, you can count on me to take you on a "Death Tour" through the Recoleta's Cementery, muahahahahaaaaaa! LOL!!!
in the cemetaries ive been to in Australia they all do, and many you cant see any coffins inside either, they are usually behind some sort of wall on their shelves.
@MsDesecration Yes, of course, they do... but time corrodes locks... and curious and disrespectful people, like myself, tend to take advantage of this...
@polloarg wow, mabey the cemetaries ive been too, they all have the biggest brand spanking new locks, i think they do change them at the different places ive gone :D
i wouldnt call you 'disrespectful', i would call you more 'very curious'. disrespectful would be more completely defacing and trashing the crypts and tombs.
thanks for sharing, its really interesting to see :D
This is so strange. I don't understand at all how those coffins are kept in such a clumsy way ? The last part for example. There were like over 10 coffins there and all could be seen just like that and put in that crypt in terrible mess. Are those crypts with visible coffins robbed or abandonned or is it natural in Argentina to leave coffin almost above ground and not hiding it? Here where I live we have similar crypts but they are closed and coffins after funeral can't be seen ever againFGS !
@Miketayfan Hehehehe! It's so very funny for me that you find this understandable. But i understand your point of view, because it's logical. We shouldn't be able to access the crypts... but, as with everything here, argentinians have no respect for anything (and I, as argentinian, either). Anyways, the rotten bodies, the smelly coffins, the old pictures in the crypts, are no more than symbols.... so... there we are: being morbid assholes =)
The cementery, in fact, is a pretty good one... it is expensive, it has security, it is a "must see" for the tourist (there are famous people buried there, like "Evita", a couple of Nobel winners, writers, etc.). The fact that there are a lot of opened crypts resides in our sad way of NOT appreciating nor respecting anything... and relatives letting the body to rot by time... C'est la vie (or the death)...
One day you are a loved one.... next day you are an amusement for some asshole like me. Actually, a friend of mine, went to the public cementery and BUYED A SKULL. Yes, just as you read it! It costed about eight dollars. The cementery keeper had a box full of bones, skulls and stuff........ pretty sad, isn't it? To end with your head over some man's desktop... Anyways... it is all ways fun to sneak into the crypts, not to mention, if you are a headbanger, as myself... LOL!
@Miketayfan i have seen a few places where the coffins look like they are just rammed in there like sardines and all messed up, and there were some that were really neatly placed but still kinda looked a mess.
i guess a few had been robbed (just from the look of them) and others looked as if theyd had small animals or rats come by and help themselves to whats inside over time. mabey they are messily placed cos the people putting them in there were to scared to do it properly :D
@MsDesecration Probably :) Well I may sounded very outraged but that's not the case. It's just that at our cemetaries they are really strict and even very old crypts are locked or coffins are behind walls. Argentine crypts seems different. Coffins are placed in some sort of basement with shelves and that's it. All you need to cross is few stair down the crypt. It's so easy. LOL.
@Miketayfan I guess everyone does things differently around the world, there are places ive seen that are immaculate, and others that are just forgotten over time. i do find this vid quite interesting, as alot of the things you see in it arnt something people come across every day either, well where I am (everythings hidden behind this or that) :D
Hey, man! Actually, it was much longer.... but since Youtube limits the upload to 10MB, i've cutted (in a tough way, I know)....... Anyways, I'm planing to take a visit to the cementery one of these days. If so, I'll be uploading something, I guess... This is funny, because I first uploaded the video so my girlfriend could watch it... and now, it has around 6500 visits.... LOL!!!
@LocoComputers1 Hey, Man! Thanks! This is in Argentina. This is the "Cementerio de la Recoleta" in Buenos Aires. It's one of the most beautiful! Greets!
Saludos!!

I must to say that it is prohibited to go into the crypts... obviously. But it's all ways cool to trespass.
Well, i extended too much... greets!
