  • Something's wrong with this video.

  • how come it pauses after 10 seconds?

  • 0:22 a mmaof's bubbie prototype!!

  • Cartoony Cartoons 4ever!!!!

  • I thought thsiw as the 1961 one, with the crazy Alvin stinger when Cecil tosses DJ.

  • This is the first collaboration between Paul Dini and Bruce Timm, who storyboarded this short. The two would later end up heading such shows of high caliber such as Batman: the animated series, Batman Beyond, and Superman.

  • Beany's voice is high-pitched in this 80s series for some reason. In the 60s series, he sounds like Michael Jackson.

  • Due to Beany's voice was preformed by a female v.o. actress, not a male v.o. actor like in the 1950's & 60's.

  • Ah, I thought Beany was actually voiced by a little boy in the 1980s series! But I gotta say, Maurice LaMarche does a really good job as Dishonest John!

  • Wow! I didn't know that. but if you tune in "The Super Mario Bros. Super Show" live action segment "The Super Mario Bros Meeet Inspector Gadget" you could see Maurice LaMarche doing an outstang jb as the "liveface" Inspector Gadget & if DIC brings nack Insector Gadget I think Mr LaMarch shoud be the first in line.

  • Yep. And they should bring back Frank Welker as Brain, Dr. Claw and M.A.D. Cat, instead of the voice actors that have done those three characters since 2001. And maybe Cree Summer could reprise her role of Penny! Besides, there was that CGI movie in 2005, which was actually very similar to the original 1983 series!
