@revolutionhk actually in an interview he said that his experience was actually okay, his parents and family accepted it casually. though he was really terrified at what his older brother would say since they are so close. :D his brother, Chris Evans (fantastic four), was fine towards it too. he was lucky, since you know there are obviously not some lucky ones. :(

Oliver's voice at 9:10 really breaks my heart. Somehow I doubted if Scott Evans really came out to his parent so easy as he said in an interview. Either he is a really good actor or this is his real life experience.

I'm so glad that they are not dragging out this coming-out to his parents. The writers could have done a stupid thing like have Layla cover up for him and pretend to be his girlfriend.

Oliver is being really brave here...and the difficulty we see him having is portrayed very realistically.
