@unityspirit51 Well considering that Christmas really isn't about Jesus anymore would you expect them to? Pretty much all of Christmas customs are secular, I mean you could say that our modern Santa is derivation of St. Nicholas. Then there's the fact that many very loosely religious people celebrate the holiday and that Jesus' real birthday isn't even in December. That aside, how far can you go with one story of a man? It's no secret it has strayed from its origins & become about consumerism..

But I can't bear to watch Polar Express, and while I love Nightmare Before Christmas, I'm not too keen on watching it as a "Christmas Movie". Maybe a good day after Halloween movie, I don't know. It's a fantastic movie, it's really a Halloween/Christmas mix which is a great original spin but I tend to see it more towards Christmas.
