This peice of music is lovely, what standard would you say the concerto is at a whole? Im in the lower sixth at chethams school of music in Manchester and looking for a big step up from repotouire ive currently finnished preparing for a recent assesment, this marimba concerto sounds like a possiblity i could add to my experience :) cheers,x

Out of sheer ignorance, I never thought of the marimba as such an expressive instrument, but this is really, really beautiful. The marimba has such a particular sound to it that just blows my mind of the imense emotional depth this piece presents. I hope I can hear the orchestral version soon.
