@lumbia33 Just to clarify: The commission is 4% of the gross sale of the item purchased due to the referral. This was not stated correctly in the video. There are many other on-line retailers that have similar programs. Google also has a referral program. When you click on those Google Ads the website owner gets a commission. This is a much bigger issue than just Amazon. Other state will want to try to collect on-line sales tax too. This is an accounting nightmare.
Can we say "Slay the Golden Goose". The state got greedy and is going to find out that far more harm has been done than any financial benefit.
