  • So...are the cabs pointing towards the side of the band, or literally turned fully around? (so they're facing the back wall of the venue?)

  • Great! Greetings from Poland!

  • very good I LOVE

  • I can't understand him but did he say he used a tube amp to record the album? I recall him saying he didn't cause he was going for a "pantera" sound which is badass but it sounded like he said he did in the interview.

  • @frogbeergolfgolf He uses a combination of both. Be sure to watch part one of the interview as well. He goes into a lot more detail. \m/

  • @MetalRiffAcademy

I did watch it but after it ended I immediately went into part two then responded hahaha. So I asked on this video cause I was already here. Great interview btw.

  • really cool!!! please watch my news video =D

  • Cool video man

  • Awesome! Enough said!

  • Vogg Rulez!

  • thank you for that video man. very nice. he was using the warhead also for recording organic btw

  • notice only one speaker per amp is micd, so you really only need 1/4 the amp rig shown, as each player has his/her own monitor for stage sound, and the audience has PA, but, not as cool to look at, and the heads are such and such power for such and such speaker setup... depends, but really, the sound is the thing, not the power/loudness

  • @jamvaru Ideally. But I've played lots of shows where each player doesn't have their own monitor. In small clubs etc. and sometimes the sound guy facks up and you can't hear what you need to. Like I said nothing is written in stone. It's always situational. But generally amps pointed inwards I think is the way to go for jamming and playing live. \m/

  • @MetalRiffAcademy good point, you don't always have your own pa and sound guy, like local jazz festivals ive worked at, though we always do our best to give everyone their own monitor and custom mix.. overkill is always better than underkill

  • @MetalRiffAcademy what dean guitar does he have its bad ass wgat model ?

  • very modern style, im in

    ;>'

  • interviewer is lovin' it - finally got something special that has not been said yet at the very end. the part about advice to people who want to get to this level of metal

  • nice interview! great content and good info. your voice sounds professional. but you need to watch your "uh"s. they're distracting.

    otherwise cool :D

  • Make an interview with helmuth of Belphegor. He really good in guitar!

  • What Dean is he playing in the vids?

It looks like a ML Knight with the headstock refinished.

And what Gibson is he using?

  • 30 marshalls for malmsteen is,, because the more cabs you can use the better sustain and guitar sound u get same as hendrix,, as he used to make music just out the feedback of off hes marshalls... so yes , i belive more amps and cabs will give you an authentic metal sound and also will increase the feedback and sound from ur guitar also that way u dont have to run ur amos on full OD all the time to make up for the 30 amps VS 30 AMPS WILL generate better cleaner sound w.o od UR HEADS... peace.

  • @cisco2fun1 Who knows. I really can't say for sure but thirty heads is excessive to say the least and I heard from someone who tech'd for him at a show that they are real Marshalls but he only had three plugged in.

  • @ShredGuitarAcademy sure all the other MARSHALLS may ne for stand by ,,or looks,,, but in general most havey waight guitar players that play metal, will use 3 to 4 stacks, as i do as well.. thats my amount, 3 ..you get a awesome sound and dont have to OD them cus u have the over heads... thnx.

  • @cisco2fun1 Well exactly. I mean 3 is reasonable. But 30? It seems like a bit much. But I can't say for sure. If Yngwie does use 30 I say that's totally rock & roll and I'm down for it. I just wouldn't want to be his tech;)

  • @ShredGuitarAcademy ,,,, another excessive guitar player that used to use many amps on stage was VH he primeraly started this trend of having dozen of amps w cab on showes and stage,,, well after many other took it in consideration,, APLAUSE.... to VH... if u never used not to say 30 amps but may be 10, u will never experiance the sound it can be achived, it is an amazing experiance. controlling all that power,, wich thats another skill in its self. great subject.,,, take care dude ...

  • Great material, thanks for posting. I enjoyed the commentary for the laymen.

  • I think Sunn O))) uses all thier wall of amps...

  • Great interview! Thanks for sharing! \m/

  • overall awesome material
