That was the best run I've ever seen of the Beady long legs. Just attack one of its feet and you're all good. I mean seriously sure you lost a couple of Pikmin but you did it so fast does it really matter? I officaly know how I'm doing it from now on.

lol when i was walking up in the beady long legs lair, i knew it would come. what i didnt know: it hated me from the start. it landed directly on me, killing 3 or 4 pikmin at the start.started the fight by bringing 100 pikmin. I didn't lose much pikmin. Then the sheargrubs and shearwigs came so i ended up losing 24 pikmin that day. The sheargrubs and shearwigs were very persistent. They ate the bridge. One persistant shearwig stopped to eat a bridge for a few seconds before continuing the chase.

a good way to kill beady long legs is to just bring about 20 red pikmin in, and when he lowers his body throw all of them at him, and when he tries to shake them off, whistle them back to you

I don't get it... how do you make pikmin from a leaf to a flower? its very confusing, other than that great vid!

You just let 'em be for a little while. If you see 'em as a leaf, leave them in the ground, come back later and they'll flourish into a flower. Can't give a time estimate. It's quicker to get them the nectar, though.

when I found the nova blaster and guard satellite parts, i thought they were hinting towards a possible shoot em up element, shooting meteors and stuff after you get the good ending and olimar heads back home.

i think that might have made a fun minigame if they included it in the wii remake

The reason that one pipe gives you so many bomb rocks is because it's the only place to get them in the whole stage.

Only yellow pikmin makes Beady a ton easier. I take only 20 reds to carry the stuff back.

Then I just go back with only reds on Puffstool.

I forget, can you switch between leaf/bud/flower when holding a pikmin in this game, or just in Pikmin 2? 'Cause that's a real easy way to deeal with a single leaf.

in Pikmin one you couldn't but in new play control you can.

I think the trick is to bring a small amount of pikmin into the beady long legs battle so you get them all on the head before he can step on them.

Exactly. You can only get like 20-30 on him anyway, so any more is just cannon fodder.

I hate fighting Raging long legs in Pikmin 2 I had 100 Pikmin and came out of that battle with 37, but I had plenty of Pikmin in the rocket and the Onions

Wouldn't it be weird if there were to be a pikmin online? Lol, have like the dungeon and onions around the dungeon and at the end there would be a boss. Would actually be kind of neat. Would never happen though lol.

Actually yea, I don't understand why some people hate it. It was actually kind of fun, and my double dash doesn't work on my game cube anymore, played it so much lol. So to see it come back and on the wii, would be great.
