  • 5 people are cows for the velociraptors.

  • 3:00 Does anyone know where that raptor pen was? Havent been able to find it, I think I head its a botanical park now.

  • Anyone know where I could get a copy of this picture 1:57 ?

  • That T-Rex looks badass real that I want to use that prop for my backyard!

  • That glass of water moment is so iconic.

  • With todays technology I know they could make stop motion look fluid and not choppy. I mean with those 1000fps cameras it could easily be done. And if done correctly would beat out cg in my opinion since they would be using something real and tangible.

  • @DDRGURU56 lol 1000fps cameras wouldnt contribute a thing. You pose a marionette a bit with each frame, so fps has nothing to do with it, you just move it enough frames to play at 24fps. This is called animation lol. I agree tho id like to see more of it with todays budgets and talents having a go. The reason stop motion is not preferred in industry is because its actually incredibly difficult to get it right, expensive and you can only push it so far despite great artistic efforts.

  • @EmDee3d Ya I realize that. I'm not sure how I was thinking about it at the time I made that comment. But you're right. I guess I was looking at it like they could do all the movements consecutively somehow and have a high fps camera just film it to make it look smoother. I forgot that you would have a guys hands in the video if you did it that way. Lol.

  • glad they ditched the go-motion crap

  • haha, the guitar string story is awesome ! I believed they kind of set the car on a large metal flexboard or something that they could span and click back or something, like a magnified handclicker... Lantierri probably tried that too in vain with unsatisfactory results... jeez even the wave generator didn't pull it off. Classic moviemaking tale !

  • i want a pet velociraptor ^_^

  • When I was young, I had heard of DNA and genetics, aged 7, and when I saw Jurassic Park, I thought they actually did it, and made dinosaurs. It seemed a lot more easer to do that than to draw them on computers. Considering I had a Super Nintendo at home, I thought it was a no brainer - they made their own dinosaurs for the movie.

  • @superhamzah85 So did I and I wanted to clone my own for my dad's ranch as a kid.

  • 5:09, right side: DIABEETUS!

  • "I´m extinct" - poor guy!

  • Im sad for those who missed this time in life because back then in the 90s with everything Speilberg and life had to give was priceless.

  • I WANT TO SEE JURASSIC PARK AGAIN!

  • when i was younger, this movie was the greatest thing to happen since chocolate milk. :)

  • If T-Rex stomped that loudly (as demonstrated by the waves in the water glasses), he would've been a lously predator because Prey would sense T-Rex from miles and miles away, lol!

Still, it's an awesome effect of course! :)

  • Next step was making the creatures talk which was Draco from Dragonheart (1996)!

  • I like the Jurassic Park movies. I'm just afraid that if they make a JP4, it will look too animated. Just like what they did with the incredible hulk movie. Too much CGI made it look kind of fake, and I don't want a New JP movie to look too fakish. I mean, When I first watched this, I thought dinosaurs were still alive!

  • I still have my JP action figures and dinosaurs ... watching this film makes me feel like a kid again

  • Those test shots are better than most CGI today.

  • @YesWeCantaloupe Seriously. This CGI is amazing. Most movies these days don't even come close. I wonder if it's the talent that was working on JP or if it's just that most movies don't have the time or budget to do this.

  • "really talented actors!" (jeff goldblum?)

  • hey does anyone no where i can get a dvd of this movie?

cuz i never seen it before (DONT FREAK OUT THIS MOVIE IS OLDER THAN ME!)

but i've seen parts of it on videos here on youtube and it look like a REALLY cool movie

  • @LegoKing345 Try Amazon.com or Best Buy

  • @Yukiko222 actually,i saw it on this channel called sy-fy a few days ago,it was really good but i can only remember one scene that was really intense (T-REX car scene) but it was overall good

  • @LegoKing345 It was much more intense and impressive in 93.

  • @LegoKing345 local dvd shops or online :) haha movies older then me too by 1 yr ahaha but i grew up with it

    Jurassic park -1st

Jurassic park the lost world - 2nd

Jurassic park 3 - is the third of the movies :) or just torrent them ;)

  • Hey! Just to remind you JP fans - although we don't have any Brachio's or other "veggiesaurs", you may want to check our dinosaur research website: center4cretstudies.tripod.com/

  • the dinosaurs dont look real ..EXCACTLLY !

  • did they keep these places there or did they take them apart :\

  • Hawaii should've kept the set!

  • Who dislikes this? Really, it is such a specific title that you must have searched it and you know it's a documentary, not the actual film. I just don't see how it happens. You obviously wanted to see it in the first place.

  • Why is there even a dislike button on videos like this

  • r.i.p stan. thanks for all the amazing movie creatures. bet you're discussing creatingmethods with the MAN himself haha

  • 4 people hate this 0.0

ARE YOU CRAZY i love watching making of movies

  • @RoPWU LOL maybe they are fans of stop motion :D

  • Jurassic Park: My Favorite Film of All Time. I have to agree with everyone else on here. It is a life-changing film and I love it.

  • So these guys spent a handful of days animating dinosaurs, then have a devil of a time making a glass of water ripple. oh brother haha!

  • @dda976 Ya I read like a lot of the Mistakes on IMBD.com, theres like 500 mistakes in this movie lol

  • i dont get the part with Allen scaling the trench, if it was that deep, how did the T-Rex get out, i know the fences were not electrified, but it shows level ground the scene where the T-Rex breaks out and then a trench-wtf?

  • @kaijumovies96 hahaha yeah that part with the trench always pisses me off i always wondered if anyone else had picked up on that still a good movie though!!

  • lol earth wind and fire he blazes :)

  • spielberg king of the bad hat

  • 6:10 - Spielberg at his best, lol.

  • I must've watched this film 100 times when I was younger, it's definitely inspired me to choose film as a career

  • @Eddyles too bad you're not successful at it

  • @Eddyles go for it :\ dont sleep on it

  • I love Jurassic Park (=

  • cool 5/5 freaking stars
