man u wouldn't be very good for him at all, i think your right with arsenal, i would also see him play for sevilla somewhere where he will get consistent champions league time but on a team that will allow him to play consistently also, and in a league that is more competitive, he wont get that with man u (not immediately anyway, except for the competitiveness of the league, but thats only if he plays)

Özil is a good player, but I think he is not a fantastic player, like Zidane, Ronaldino, Christiano Ronaldo, Ribery, Hagi or other great football players... He is only a good player, not better than that... In Turkey national team there is better player than him, And Germany is not a wonderful team... I think Özil couldn't play is national Turkish team because they play like Brazilians... And Özil play like a German... I think it's a good thing for Özil to play in Germany...

Özil is Turkish but he takes the right to play for Germany... That doesn't mean he is German... For example, Dorasso has played for French national team, he said "I am french player but I don't support french team"... That means he is not french in fact, but that does not prevent it to play for France... Mehmet Aurelio is Brazilian that does not prevent him to play for Turkish national team... that's show that it is not necessary to be german to play for germany!!!

I was born in the UNited States but my parents are Turkish. Im Turkish not American. Tarkan was born in Germany but he's Turkish and sings in Turkish, do you consider him German? I can tell you that he doesn't consider himself German but infact Turkish.

The real question is in Germany when looking at him and reading his name do you people consider himself Turkish. I guarnatee you dont, you tihnk he's turkish (from last name and face). There is also hamit altintop and Mehmet Scholl who are part turkish. There is a list of turkish players on the german team who are turkish, including Kaplan and another I forget (u20). A turk can't even consider being German if born in Germany because you treat Turks like second class citizens.

Mit der Entscheidung für Deutschland zu spielen legt Mesut Özil ein Superbeispielt für Integration da. Ich hoffe, dass aufgrund eines türkischen Superstars in der DFB Mannschaft die Türken in unserem Land sich besser dazugehörig fühlen können.
