Total lies! The draft-dodgers of the Vietnam era called the draft a Draconian tactic. They call the gov. Draconian, when they openly admit to fire bombing buildings. The reason why they act defensively is that many people who people claim they could never do this or that were able to pull that off. Take a look at all the people in US history who assassinated or attempted to assassinate, firebombing and even made threats against scientists. You don't have to spill blood to terrorize.
Draconian is a good word...anyone can make a sign and put it on a fence and blame this group and that group and with the hope that insurance pays. I blame the bush/rove culture they want to destroy everything FDR and have a semi-fasist state based on fear...if we ever get a Progressive administration we must strengthen our fragile democracy against future Karl Roves.

The system of "democracy" thats being sold to us doesn't work and never really has on a large scale. There's nothing to strengthen.
