  • try getting a better/deeper lift by holding the lower bars

  • UUUP.....UUUUP....UUUUUUP....UP

  • hold it between ur legs turn it up turn it up!

  • anyone know what the name of the song is?

  • @Wibsen1 twisted transistor

  • i hate this bar!

  • Is the trap bar designed to improve form? I've heard lots about these but sadly the gym I go to is a commercial one and hardly ever buys new gear, especially bars like that.

  • i just like the little thumbs up

  • Great form and strength. Thats what i'm aiming for... I'm just a squirrel in your world, maaannnnn...

  • The higher handles make it EASIER...that's why. It has nothing to do with being taller or shorter.

  • It does make it easier, BUT for some tall people like me it reduces possible injury on the lower back. Also it makes it so the bar doesn't tilt, which is a major pain during a heavy set.

Anyway that said it's not that much easier. Maybe a 500 TBDL with the lower handles.

  • @mensacyclist

no it is for taller athletes, otherwise the lifter is at a lower point too deep.

  • @50006972

Uhhh, yeah.....that guy looks like he's about 5'8". If that's "taller" then I must be a friggin' giant.

  • @mensacyclist

    lol @ "that guy"

    idiot.

  • how come you do it with the trap bar upside down?

  • Its not upside down. it has two different handles. one for shorter people and the other for taller people.

  • solid lift Zach!

just brought a trap bar, hopefully ill be able to lift that kinda weight soon!
