I heard people talking about the book and the fact that it was going to be a movie. i wanted to read it but i thought that from the name of it, it was going to be a horror so i didn't read it but from watching the trailer i changed by mind. i have since read the book and am currently reading the second one and cant wait for it to be out in the cinema.

Was it just me or did the books have a sort of sic connection with how america reflects with the rest of the world, albeit exaggerated. To compare this book to twilight is shallow considering the only relation is the love triangle, which can be found in many books. So aside from the at times childish writing the ideas and portrayal of the authors version where awesome. Don't knock it till you try it...id read the books before you watch the movie.

People keep comparing this movie to Twilight. I loved the all books in the Twilight Saga, they were really good. i am reading the Hunger Games, which is good as well. I think its stupid for everyone to be arguing about it because there is simply no point. They are both sucessful books that will be turned into movies. Guys.. Appearence isn't everything. What we need is a cast who can portray all the true depths of the characters, and they can do that. We all know Jennifer Lawrence is amaing, Josh has been in a thousand and one movies, Liam has so serious potential, and Suzanne Collins wrote the screenplay. Chill out. I'm personally going to the movie with no expectations and a blank slate, so if it'a bad I won't be so disappointed and if it's good, I'll just be so much happier.
