  • if you are going to take the time to write a video description, at least use proper english. Then again, it must have taken some level of thought to replace all the "s" with "z", and "the" with "da", so you can't be as uneducated as you make yourself appear to be.

  • the wrong note was a wonderful dominant inculsion in his intepretation of the work.

  • hahahahahahahahahaha

  • Well, that was not as catastrophic as i thought it would be from the title... Moreover, I even liked the way it sounded... It was even in the chord structure!

  • wtf? 'da zheer gensui'? dude do you speak english? or any language known to man? what planet are you from? take me to your leader!

  • At least he played a note in the right key

  • what does 'na zywo' mean?;L

  • Wow ! the Kawai sounds almost like a steinway , don't you think ?

  • The missed note at the beginning of the waltz? I agree with MrStrav81 on this one, does it really matter? It doesn't really disrupt the flow of the piece, so I don't see much of a problem... 2nd best fuckup? I've seen far worse...

  • I missed what the big deal was. Was it that he missed one of the repeated notes at the beginning of the Waltz? I don't care. The description is way more than a little overblown. I will say, his stage presence is awkward in more ways than one, but so what?

  • surely that's robert webb?!

  • So, he turned a single note into a 7th with the additional A-flat... maybe the extra note was a feature :p

  • The only fuck up was the spelling of the title

  • Captain Jack Sparrow is back in action!!

  • Wow. Is that Enrico? The man who flawlessly and legendarily played franz liszt's totentaz?

  • this guy looks like Jonny Depp

  • Professors should show several clips of terrible f-ups on performances on the 1st day of masterclass, then say, "At some point, something similar will happen to you. So don't get cocky."

  • ROFL!!!

  • I am the 50000th guy click this after saw this sick description.

  • nowhere near the epic proportion of the no.1 best f***up , but the ???? zherr gensui ???? of this wrong note plus the random broadcast malfunction soon after , make this a legendary ???cry game???? moment ???????????????? wait ?? iz deez correct ??

  • That sheet music doesn't seem so unnecesary now, eh?

  • HAHAHA!!!! That happened to me before. You're about to start a next movement after a moment of silence and then someone triggers the domino effect of coughing, and you look stupid like this guy felt at 0:22. FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE CONFUSED, Man poor guy was about to strike his first note and instead of retracting his hand pretends like he MEANT to rest his hand on the top of the piano.

  • my left earphone went out at 1:06

  • @anonymousQ45 Goodlord, that scared me, I bought my headphones recently and they were expensive.

  • @anonymousQ45

    Both at 1:12 :)

  • Who is this pianist?

  • @TheEngraver Fyodor Amirov

  • was it the beginning? he pressed 2 notes on accident but it sounded pretty nice k k

  • um.... I think he meant to post it on don't watch this.com

  • hahahah why is Captain Jack Sparrow performing a piano concert??!!! 0_0

  • when i saw this i thought the fuck up was what shit he was wearing.............and for the person who posted this are you from the ghetto? why do you write so weird?

  • Captain Jack Sparrow!

  • mess-ups here and there are all right. but to misplace 3 of the beginning notes? is incomprehensible! they're single notes!!!!!

  • I really wanna fuck that guy he is so sexy and his cock must be very big

  • @MassEfect3 you want to blow or get fucked?

  • .... Is the description written in Klingon? What does this say!? I can't read it!

  • @nyc11104 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA but he is damn good you got to admit that feodor is a great player.

  • why does he look so much like d'artagnan from 3 musketeers?

  • the great Josef Hofman once said that he has to carry a huge suitcases with him because in it are all the wrong notes he plays :-) It doesn't matter if there're wrong notes. OMG, these people are humans, no robots. The interpretation of a piece is much more important than its technical precision.

  • but da zheer gensui of dis wrong note plus the da random broadcazt malfunction. wow you really need to stop cutting english class.

  • esta en las drogas este loko

  • What? What kind of English is this? Are you speaking English? Sad comment on today's education. Maybe it was a stroke that caused that... in that case, I apologize.

  • This guy obviously was a student of Paderewski...

  • Is that it, the note at the beginning of the waltz in E Flat? Or am i completely blind?

  • Johnny Depp? :)

  • Description:

Nowhere near the epic proportion of the number one best [censored], but the sheer genius of this wrong note plus the random broadcast malfunction soon after make this a legendary moment.

    How I say it:

Nowhere is the best part of the #1 best player, Feodor Amirov, all because of this one stinky little wrong note! Plus a malfunction randomly appeared near the end after capturing this moment.

Also for the title of this video, I'd say:

"Second Best Mistake [By Feodor Amirov]"

  • "Even masters make mistakes" says it all.

  • my name is inigo montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die.

  • @lee4ivy HA HA, I copied this to my facebook and put your same comment! HA HA! Just what I was thinking.

  • @lee4ivy DUDE I THOUGH THE SAME THING XDDDD

  • @lee4ivy as you wish.

  • Guido the killer pimp.

  • What's up with the description?

  • Jack Sparrow xDD

  • poor poor tsobanian, just hates anyone different.....JTO420 is spot on....I think it even sounds better than the original...that little discord is right in keeping with the piece...especially at the beginning like that....sets the tone.

  • this dude is Feodor Amirov.

Born on August 23, 1981 Russia

    School Moscow State Conservatory

Competitions 1st prize: Young Chopin International Competition (Moscow) 1996

1st prize: Poulenc International Competition 1999

  • I don't know.....it sounds he did it on purpose..

  • If I was a judge at this competition, that one wrong note at the beginning would have no bearing whatsover on my final evaluation

  • Yeah, it's a tiny TINY little error, and if a lot of people don't even know the piece, then they didn't even notice. Plus, the audience is listening to the music, not the notes. They're not gonna count how many errors he made, otherwise them going to a concert of him playing is a waste of time. It's like observing paintings with your eyes 1 inch away from the paintings and pointing out where the painter didn't brush...I mean, really, who cares?

  • what mistake?

  • listen close at 0:31

  • Who is this twat?? Next time he will cover up his mistakes with his lousy mustache....

  • He is a retard.

  • Aww, that's just an inopportune little wrong note.

That mustache, on the other hand, is criminal.

  • Criminal mustache?!.... Oh god I can't stop laughing. You made my day!

  • what happened?

  • yeah theres one mistake... but it's completely undetectable to someone who is unfamiliar with the song. its not a "fuckup" lol

  • this gay is such an ass

  • The only thing you achieve when you say that he is a bad pianist because of the mistake, is that you confirm your own unmusicality... All in all this seems like a lovely interpretation!

  • he would probably think the 0:32 is a mistake

  • the real mistake is to upload this video here!

  • i don't hear any mistake. you mean the first part doesnt finish like that or what?

  • in a few of the first 10 notes in the Grand Waltz. it's not an ordinary error simply because it is in the beginning.

  • No, when he starts playing the waltz, the opening section is just that single note played over, but he accidentally hits two notes at once.

  • every1 makes mistakes, but its just that how he tried to cover up like that was hilarious XD

  • Comment removed

  • Is that....is that a leather jacket?

  • @HelixTheThinker

Is that...is that curled hairstyle real?

  • hope he did not win the chopin competition.... would be a shame for chopin....

  • dude! like you could have thought to cover yourself up like that. this guy thinks on his feet lol

  • mistake hahah! it is the most musical and acceptable mistake at 0:32 also performance looks very well.

  • what mistake?

  • Datruzepp, you are a complete idiot.

  • i feel said for him :D

  • Comment removed

  • the more i listento the 'mistake' the more it sounds right ha

  • Are you like Eskimo or something? Do you get like D's in English class? Seriously the spelling needs improvement and you're just trying to make it cool. You epically failed.

  • mistake already on 0:32 =>looser

  • Please learn how to write English

  • What kind of sick description is this? Go ban your own account.

  • @eXcalibooor kinda like the description lulz

  • can anyone tell me where is the mistake? I don't have the sheets and I've never played it. thx

  • Comment removed

  • on 0:32 he made a stupid mistake

  • haha, Johnny Depp wannabe

  • haha, that comment made me laugh really hard, especially after seeing his face!

  • the fuck up was him checking up that girl while he was playing piano 0:24

  • I honestly don't see the major FU. It was a minor FU that he covered quite well. plus, i think his appearance is quite refreshing.

  • lol you dont see it!

0:32 only one plays and he hits 2 notes at the same time.

  • oh yeah. true. but still not a major FU.

  • not true. nurray peraiah blacked out completely once and arthur rubenstein boasted about all the wrong notes he struck.

  • A real pianist would've followed it up with -G-F and then laughed about it with his friends at the bar afterward :-)

  • For those who don't know the piece, it might as well be actually written in the score. Sure, it's wrong, but it doesn't sound very dissonant either.

  • I think it's the ideal wrong note, the musical kind that one could argue was improvised or intentional. If someone didn't know the score they wouldn't notice, but he was playing for the Tchaikovsky Competition jury, I hope they were lenient on him.

  • And that moment between 0:08 and 0:25 makes me wish I could reach into the internets and slap that rediculous look off your ugly face.

DON'T DO THAT WITH YOUR STUPID FACE!

  • I detect troll/

  • And shave your scraggly half-man moustache you smug, arrogant looking greaseball.

  • Your hair and jacket are fukups....

  • trust me, this guy only thinks he's a virtuoso

  • Go beyond the notes people!!!!What do you do follow the score at performances. Bunch of classical stiffs!!!!!!!!

  • the horrible jacket and smug expression distract from his fluff a little at least!

  • LOL epic

  • lol after every performance everyone starts wheezing and coughing horribly. I can almost feel their tears struggling to release those coughs as greatly as possible.

  • Jack Sparrow has a weird personality! Argh!

  • more like will turner

  • .. where's the screw up? he messed one of the Bb's up, but other than that...? not totally detrimental, but i suppose in a competition like this, perhaps, lol

  • Stop doing this things, DATRUZEPP. Go on stage and play one hour program in front of famous musicians!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • johnny depp.

  • Since when did Johnny Depp start performing in piano competitions?

  • all of u.. dont u see? he stopped bcause some jackass had to cough his cancer out of his longs :S.... that at least what i believe happened

  • The fuckup is that poor attempt at a comment you left for the video. Please rewrite in English and leave the ebonics where it belongs - in the fucking gutter.

  • yo, chill!

  • @datruzepp translation: "Please, calm down."

  • ahahaha wut iz diz un-CG muthahfuckah doin n diz thread of legendary failah?

O wait, diz pozzibly a fittin thread for diz not-so-mofo. 8)

  • Minął się z szatnią najwyraźniej, poza tym jego interpretacja jest zbyt eksperymentalna, za dużo fałszywych nut. pozdrawiam.

  • hahahahaha

  • This wasn't a WRONG Note but an ADDED Note(Septime in Bb7,what's the Dominant in Eb) Chopin wrote it down, but the editors forgot to publish it !!!!

  • I like pie!

  • I like cheese!

  • "Hah, I forgot the rest of that piece, so Imma just sit upright and pretend I'm going moving onto a different one"

It'd be funnier if that were true.

  • exactly

  • .....realy does look like johny depp's fuckup!

haha! NO JUST KIDDING that was kinda cool though.....

  • Oh hahaha... Thats fun.

But I really like the way he plays the waltz... Lots of legerio or however you spell it... I can't get anywhere near as crisp light and clean sound...

  • Yes lady's and gentlemen our feature film tonight is 'Pianists of the Caribbean'!

  • Best comment ever on this video XD XD

I m laughin hard dude!! XD XD pianists of the caribbean XD XD

  • i somehow enjoyed that

  • That Kawai... Ahh... The sound is so horrible...

The disaster is the piano's bright metalic sound.

Other good pianos have a very warm, mellow tone, and elevate to a small amount of brightness when struck hard.

  • I don't agree. They make efforts on grand concert pianos.

  • What are you saying?

Well, I know playing a good steinway is absolutely unbelievable, and that Kawai's sound is made to be bright- a quality that classical music is not meant to have.

So, Kawai just got it wrong...

  • or, are we talkin about the beginning of the waltz?

  • WTF??!?!?! the sound just goes off! i wanna listen to the grande-fu*kup!!

  • WTF??!?!?! the sound just goes off! i wanna listen to the grade-fu*kup!!

  • Ahh fix your desc.

  • he also looks like a mix of michelangeli and that caveman from the geiko commercials

  • it is not rocket science when you lift your hands that high (catching pidgoens as chopin called it) you run greater chance of hitting wrong notes. i bet the girls in the front row enjoyed that one show off

  • He doesn't look serious in these clothes

  • big mistake at 0:32

  • i'll never make a mistake like what he did.. never ever forever.. that's a really2 terrible mistake.. considerably unforgivable

  • He looks like the reincarnation of Michelangeli :D

  • Lieutenant Dan!

  • LOL!!!

  • Capt. Jack Sparrow playing piano! lol

  • sirius black.

  • lmfao!

  • hahah omg so true

  • come on it's a watlz so boring a little disonence is probably his way of sprucing up a rather boring piece. imho a waltz only sounds good with an orchestra.

  • The Eb waltz is really exciting though!

  • i hate playing waltz's i guess that's why i find them boring.

and god forbid you put synchopated crap in front of me. love listening to scott joplin, but ... moving my arm from like 6 inches at a time and hit the right note? eh it's not for me. and waltz is only slightly different. i don't like moving my arms.

  • what was the piece he was finishing in the beginning?

  • I sort of prefer his mistake.

  • im captain jack sparrow!

  • omg!!!

    that hurts alot!!

  • He looks like Vincent Gallo.

  • I'm waiting for him to get up, rip off his shirt to reveal a white wife-beater t-shirt, bend in a karate pose with arms in attack position, "ah, fukee, fukee,.." and start kicking the sh.. out of the booing audience....

  • Johnny Depp.

  • lol it looks like he doesnt know if the song is supposed to end at 0:10 and is hoping people dont notice

  • the power on his hands are not evenly distributed... 0:54.. i cant hear the right hand part because his left is louder...

  • actually, i heard two..... the first is the b flat-a flat dissonance, and he missed e flat on the left hand... 00:40 it is..... ^_^

  • a little slip unfortunately at the beginning, you don't need to change fingering for the bell-like announcement

  • this guy has horrible stage presence

  • Aside from the very beginning of the Waltz, I don't see where the mistake was, and I'm a pianist. What is the big deal? Did I miss something?

I don't understand the way he dressed. I would say that was the biggest blunder.

  • That, and the fact that the sound gets cut off at aroudn 1:00.

  • The mistake is precisely at the very beginning of the waltz...

  • as i commented earlier, i heard two... the beginning and the e flat at 00:40

  • as i commented earlier, i heard two... the beginning and the e flat at 00:40

  • yes ! I didn't notice this second mistake... But then, are you
