Actually, if ANYONE here knows anything about K1 or MMA, the "karate" guy is Genki Sudo! He's more unorthodox than Karate. He's got an awesome exciting style that matches the exciting flying kicks of TKD. It just turned out that he was better. And this should be a lesson for TKD guys not to keep such a freaking low guard! In close quarters, that shit's dangerous!!!

shijanre needs to get his facts corrected. There are numerous martial arts, some combative and some demonstrative, there is no absolute definition of what constitutes a martial art. Don't get me wrong, it takes years of dedicated training for any " Martial artist" to achieve high technical ability and stamina. It just seems a shame that you disrespect these fighters efforts because it doesn't fit your rigid ideas. It's not BS it's just not your thing. Peace and respect.

Then Karate started executing better...winning round 1.

That's legendary Japanese fighter Sudo Genki. I'm not big on Karate so I couldn't tell you what his style is for sure but I think it's shotokan. He's competed also in MMA and here in the states in the UFC. He is most known for his execentrice entrances. They have some here on youtube
