The truth is those that are in control of this world are very smart. They know that those religions yo mentioned have absolutley no power. The ones that love darkness and the system of this world KNOW THAT THE POWER IS ONLY IN OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST. So they glorofy and give a pass to those religions and crucify Christianity. But it says that in the end Israel, God people, Christians will be surrounded, but our God will destroy all that come up against Him.

m face when she claims to kow all this stuff, but has no idea what those other religions "with the elephant for the head, and the buddha standing next to him, and the water fountain" are, or represent... maybe if you educated yourself on other religion and not just your own, you'd start to see there's a pattern in all religion. anyway, that's my rant. i'm going to go worship satan now... like a boss.

(part two) Other religions are peace based and we understand there is no specific set of beliefs that "gets you in." Christians and Muslims believe you're either "in the club" or you are going to hell. The majority of Christains don't even know when, where or who wrote the bible. They don't know of the other bible books. They are ignorant to their own religion. And yet beg to judge others. So THIS is why Christianity and Islam are persecuted.

I practice Hinduism. I also live in Southern United States. I do not judge any religion bc i don't believe any religion is wrong. God has many different names such as Allah, Shiva, Gaia, Buddha etc etc. It is PEOPLE who put up the walls. I understand your point completely about the Hindu or Buddhist not being persecuted, however you must understand that the reason the followers of Christianity and Islam and rejected and persecuted is because they believe no other religion is right but theirs.

Because christians on the whole are the most judgmental bigoted people on earth, and because they judge others, they themselves shouldn't be so surprised when they are judged. At the end of the day, as long as people look OUTSIDE of themselves, they will never find peace, those who look WITHIN, awaken, only they awaken, but christians come here and abuse people all the time for NOT being christians. Those are excepted by the "antichrists" because it keeps people away from worshipping to only one true God. So therefore the prince of darkness is worshiped this way. The devil. Jesus did not come to change the world , he came to take us out of the world......

We will change our environment but only to protect us and keep us in his kingdom spiritually while we live in this world. Jesus is coming back to destroy the world system. @MarketplaceKing I believe he is pointing out an irony in the word, not directly attacking you as a women. The point I choose to take from his comment, albeit rash, is that the Bible is open to many interpretations as I'm sure you'd agree. The consistency of Christs followers, in both structure and application of belief, much like any other religion are best taken on a case by case basis.

@isbent I've personally found out the hard way that the majority of Christians do believe firmly in conversion, regardless of your personal spirituality, interpretation of the Bible or your specific church. This personally offends me, while I am also baptized a Christian, I am still open to other faiths, in that I believe any true person of faith has some understanding of the world to offer me, and so I try to listen with an open heart and mind.

I do see your point and tend to agree with it. I suppose it has allot to due with the amount of attention in media culture subjects such as the dark ages, the crusades, fundamentalism, and creationism receives. (truly no sarcasm intended)

But as much as one shouldn't assume to suppose all Muslims are fundamentalists, the same can be said for Christians. I attempt to take everyone on a case by case basis; but from a very young age we are taught to ascribe others personality by the easiest possible defining characteristics, and religion is a major one.

I've been very exposed to and been thinking about over the last few weeks, I appreciate the discussion.
