  • Well, I recently came back from a trip to England, just outside London, and while there decided to find a few caches. Some really creative stuff! Look forward to some creative Caches, Maryland!

  • you can get these on ebay search for trick puzzle lock

  • Rip mate

  • RIP Steve, get setting some caches in heaven for us :)

  • nice coat.... so is the cacher supposed to fill the water jug back up? anyway nice cache sven

  • I had 20 of my caches go missing , with the thief leaving laminated threatening notes addressed to me (not leaving his/her name) -two years ago. They had tradeables in them, and kept replacing with small film sized caches and moving them just slightly ..some replaced 4 times, and cachers reading my log on line, were prepared, and if they too found one missing, replaced it. Eventually after about 6 months, the thief got tired. I won! None stolen over year and half and again, have stuff to trade

  • RIP dude

  • Very Cool!!! Is there a website with Geocach listings?

  • what i dont understand is the purpose of it?

  • use a hidden animal camera to post there pics.

  • The person taking your caches must be a fellow cacher I assume. To me a cacher delberately spoiling/muggling/taking caches is far worse than posting any kind of spoilers, they should be ashamed of themselves and their behaviour as they are just spoiling it for the rest of us. There are a lot of 'nano on a lampost' type caches so to see Sven's caches is really great.

  • Are you wearing a Yeti costume?

  • you might like these amazon.com/Puzzle-Master-Group-Special-puzzles/dp/B005XZD3X8/ref=sr_1_cc_2?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1327461752&sr=1-2-catcorr :D

  • that is a really kewl lock never seen one like that

perhaps they have one in the states here

and I think if you look up the name of the lock on

google perhaps you may find another

    Cheers

  • Hm kind of nice actually.

  • That lock is really neat.

  • It's a great idea, but £12 is a lot to risk for an item that will be on view in the field.

  • @Thisisace it isn't on view in the field.

  • @Thisisace IT'S A FUCKING PADLOCK...HOW THE HELL CAN SOMEONE STEAL IT? UNLESS OF COURSE IT IS A GEOCACHER...AND THEN THE PROBABILITY OF THEM BEING A THIEF GOES DOWN BY 95%

  • I would hate to go to all the trouble to locate one of those and think there is no way to get into it. It is definitly clever. Is one of the points of this game to make it hard for the finder to open them? Or is it just fun to find new and creative ways to go about making and hiding them?

  • This is an awesome and tricky creation! I would be scared that the lock would frustrate some dumb cachers who throw the "false" key away and try it with pure muscle power. I would prefer to find such lovely installations!

  • You should set up a trick cache for this guy who likes to steal, maybe one of those blue ink popper things that the bank uses for bank robbers.

  • Sorry that you have to add locks to your caches, seems someone always has to be a spoiler of caching fun. I have had two of mine muggled as well.

  • Comment removed

  • I find ths stuff very inspiring. Makes me try to think of one of a kind caches as well. How many cache's have you personally hidden?

  • you need a headcam

  • looks like one of my caches :-)

  • Nice :D Liking the lock. Never seen a lock quite like that before.

  • Excellent! Love how you make people think!

  • wow thats a cool lock :~)

  • did u get my videos i sent u ?

  • ARGH! Can anyone buy this tricklock for me! They doesn´t send it to austria!

  • @granatschloessl I updated the link in the descrpition, that should help?

  • Ah!! It seems that what I said in my last reply to your recent video proves my point, there are some mindless thieving gits around. Well, perhaps your chaches need some sort of anti-theft device built into them, like a stick of dynamite, for intance. A hidden camera as suggested elsewhere, would be the perfect foil for catching the light-fingered idiot. Anyhow, I do like this cache idea very much. They must cost you a lot to set them up with some of the bits you use? :D

  • That jacket would go heaps well with your porn star mustache.

  • Have you ever thought of a tripod or something like a helmet cam?

  • 2:12 I hate it when my "key" is not in the correct hole ;)

  • cool video, good work (:

  • Amazing !

  • It seems when your caches are so good, people think they will justake it for their own use. Theese people tend to be tourists because you can't do anything to stop them. happens to me all the time, kinda makes me feel like not bothering.

  • @thatgutwhoscrap 20 of my caches going on the same day isn't casual geotourist thefts. It's a concerted effort by a 40 year old local child who doesn't like my youtube channel.

  • @geocachespoilers woah on the same day! If he's watching, he can piss off

  • @geocachespoilers Might have to put a cache with a surveillance camera aimed at it :-)

  • @geocachespoilers exactly what I was thinking, someone doesn't like this channel persona and wants to vindictively fuck up shit to satisfy themselves.

  • @geocachespoilers ridiculous. the youtube channel clearly states geocacheSPOILERS. there's no difference between getting spoilers from logs or this channel. he's just mad cuz he can't come up with these awesome caches!

  • @geocachespoilers Needless to say you shouldn't show all of your geocaches on video then. Or you could show how they would work and then move them to a different location to what was recorded on the video if possible. I bet its annoying having assholes do that.

  • My face when you pushed it up: O: WTF.

  • I will like just for the sleeve shot at 0:21, some kind of wolf man going around making geocaches? :)

  • Are you wearing your yeti jacket?

  • Nice :-)

  • There is a similar version of that padlock at mindgamesdirect.co.uk/metal-puzzles/under-lock-key

  • a 40 tear old kid? or 14 year old? couldn't tell

  • I've seen locks like it at leevalleytools

  • So many neat padlock cache possibilities.

  • Another fine cache Sven. Wish i lived in your neck of the woods to try your caches!

  • Here ya go sven :)

  • @howat123 thanks

  • Chewbacca! Cachebacca?

  • snazzy jacket haha. That is a pretty sneaky lock. Good cache.
