The first time I heard this was in a Chanel No. 5 commercial back in thr later seventies and loved the dreamy melody and perfectly fit the equally dreamy nature of the commercial itself, which was (as I just discovered) was directed by Ridley Scott. Perhaps that is the format he is best suited for.

Vangelis es un genio, adoro toda su música. Hace poco encontré audio cintas (Audio Cassette) de mi papá en una caja guardada y en cuanto escuché la música, se convirtió en uno de mis compositores favoritos. Toda su música es buena, pero Sueño (Reve) me gusta mucho, despierta tantas emociones en mí cuando escucho la pieza.
