  • why does it always anger foreigners, when they they see a peaceful ihasa. are they only happy, when they see people angry and killing each other.

  • When it comes to Shugden Dorje, it is overly politicized religious propaganda exploited to the tune of your bias' reasoning thus meaning little to nothing to me. I understand the issue just fine, and I am going to leave it to the monks to work out and not get involved in micro-managing Buddhist doctrine. The CCP should follow my lead. They are atheists after all! You need to BUTT out too. It is a tired and worn out argument that needs retirement...LOL

  • The simple fact is that the Dalai Lama is the most compassionate person in the world. That is not my opinion, that is his daily meditation. The government propaganda that you are told has nothing to do with the fact that the Tibetan people have no rights under Chinese rule. Over 1 million of them have been killed and they are not allowed to practice their religion in the way they wish. Thousands of old temples bombed also and those which are restored by CCP turned mostly in a tourist attraction

  • His Holiness The Dalai Lama is man of Peace & a greatest human being in world and he is our kind. How Disrespect u Chinese r. Be Humanbeing. Love & Respect, a country that never been, For example ur leader like Moa

  • Go to Lhasa and see the Chinese invaders.

  • See a chinese city that once was a proud Tibetan city.

  • who care u so called humen right fighter!

in this video, just peace and better life!

  • Thank you so much for supporting the human rights of one of the greatest, awesome and wise cultures of this world, the Tibetans.

Today hundreds of Tibetans are still missing and it's still impossible for media to actually cover the daily situation freely without feeling the breath of a CCP or pro-CCP official in their neck. I also wonder why some parts of Tibet were and still are closed for foreigners. Is there something to hide?

  • The message below was posted by: bauhiniach

    and I removed by accident.

  • I clearly see what's a true Tibet. Tibet has never been a sovereign in the past thousand history, instead it's an annex to Chinese empire. In the past just half century ago, Tibetans are living under religion of low caste and slavery. This is the truth.

  • BEIJING, Oct 7 (Bernama) -- The death toll from the powerful earthquake that struck near the Tibetan capital of Lhasa on Monday was revised to at least nine, down from 30 as previously reported by the state media.

The epicentre of the 6.6 magnitude tremor was in Gedar town in Damxung county, about 82km from Lhasa.

Nine bodies were recovered from the under the rubble of collapsed houses in the worst-hit Yangyi village and 11 others were seriously injured, Xinhua News Agency reported.

  • If you want to see a video that can give you an insight into how bad things really are in Tibet watch

Tibet: A Buddhist Nun Tells Her Story

where 15 teenage nuns were imprisoned, tortured and 14 of the 15 died.

The sole survivor tells her story. Just watch the first 75 seconds, as the story is not very pleasant after that.

    have a nice day

  • "[Tibet] is entirely closed & witnesses unimaginable things. In March 2008, 20,000 people disappeared with no trace during the upraising in Tibet. Individuals attempting to escape over the border are being shot like in a shooting-range.

We saw filmed material & photos taken out by refugees of Tibet. If a shown to a wider audience, all worldwide human rights institutions would unanimously respond to this crime against humanity."

    --Vytautas Landsbergis

    Lithuanian film-maker, 9/3/2008

  • Tibetans are subject to arbitrary arrest and detention

Torture still prevails in Chinese prisons and detention centres

Enforced disappearances, where a person is taken into custody and the details of their detention are not disclosed, continue to occur.

The 11-year-old 11th Panchen Lama has been missing since his status was announced in 1995.

Today, it appears the Chinese are using Tibet as a dumping ground for their, and foreign, nuclear waste.

  • ? just two ???? China got many, many different landscaps, many ethnical cultures and many religions....... just like US-Amerika ....

  • I was making a reference to the "two-faced" policies of the CCP. ---not about China or her many different landscapes or different ethnic cultures or religions.

  • still the same like the USA with there two faces

  • beutifull ..... - Tibet is one of the most beutifull parts of china ....

  • ---no pollution, you can see the sun and the mooon! It is so different, it is just like another country.

  • well - china is a country with many diferent faces ....

  • Its a pity that China invaded Tibet and dealt to thousands of monasteries and the Tibetan people.

  • The Chinese government can't tolerate criticism. They rely on falsehood for their survival and censor the truth.

Falsehood must rely on violence, censorship and suppression of truth to survive. Without that it will vanish like darkness faced with light.

When human rights are suppressed, when people are jailed - or worse - for expressing opinions, how dare anyone suggest that we shouldn't shine a light on these atrocities.

I say bring on the (non-violent) protests and boycotts.

  • ..you probably think that the police dressed up as monks huh? haha.

so when CNN or BBC show footages of Tibetans destroying, burning, and vandalizing the streets and establishments, courtesy from CCTV, then you won't see it as proof? the people responded to what? to police who were just standing there during the "peaceful" protest?

  • CCTV never reported the whole story. It was skewed. I saw the footage you describe, but I am not convinced that it is really as serious as it is being made out to be or actually a "riot". I just do not know. I was not there and I do not trust media accounts of things like this that are so politically charged and so controversial.

  • CCTV never talks about why Tibetans would act like this. That is an important aspect to the story that is missing. That creates suspicion. The media is so controlled in China, and the internet as well. That also creates suspiciion. The whole truth may never be known.

  • "The people responded to what?" ---That is the question. Why would the Tibetans be so upset? That is the root of the issue.

  • ...as far as police in Lhasa dressing up as monks, how would I know? Maybe they did. The CCP has done far worse things. I hardly think it's a laughing matter.

  • ...how would I know the truth?

  • ...or when he preaches "religious freedom", while persecuting other Tibetan Buddhists sects at the same time.

  • Just as the sun set on the British Empire it also set on the USSR and so it will on the CCP! Empires come and empires go. China cannot force Tibet to submit to its will and expect any glory ever! As the people of China wake up, the CCP will be put down.

Leave monk business to monks, and leave propaganda business to the CCP and shut the fvck up!

Shugden si watching you from behind>>>>>

  • in recent months, Tibet was harmonious, until when the riots came...

what about when the Dalie basically denies his shadowy past, isn't that lying (sources are in my video). you can hardly believe he is a man of compassion when you know his past. what about when he accused Chinese soldiers of dressing as monks during the riots, that turned out to be a bold-faced lie. what about when he said he'll "retire" if the violence continued, and it did, but he's still sitting on is throne today...

  • Wrong...I was there a few months before the "riots" and there was intense tension in the air. The entire region was full of anxiety and ready to blow at the smallest thing. Have you seen MY VIDEO---the one I SHOT MYSELF--titled 'Lhasa Street Chaos' where a small market dispute becomes a huge chaotic situation in minutes. Tibet was not a harmonious place---Tibet has been on edge for many years. That is the reality I have observed myself. When were you last in Tibet??? Or have you ever been?

  • i have been to Tibet, i went on a tour there, just like you. i never experienced any feelings of tension, hmm wrong place at the wrong time huh?

Tibet was more harmonious compared to during the riots. and why did you quote the word riot? what, as if it didn't happen?

it's interesting that there were "tensions" months before...

  • so when China is giving money and welfare to the Tibetans, it is unmerciful? or when China doesn't force Tibetans to follow all laws imposed on Chinese people (like the one-child policy), it shows cruelty? or even when other incentives are given to the Tibetans, like easier college entrance for one, it's shows harshness?

show me your so-called "genocide", or "tortures" or whatever. are/were there any? and if you start talking about the past, then i'll do so as well. you've seen my video right?

  • Many Han have more than one Child---if they are wealthy. The Tibetans are poverty stricken and that is the plain truth. The CCP is investing in TAR for their own agenda, not the welfare of the Tibetan people. If you think so, prove it. I never met a Tibetan inside of Tibet that went to college, ever! You want to talk about the past, bring it on!

  • Torture is done in secret, just like in the United States. Don't be a fool. The CCP is not. I watched your video. I find it to be rather dumbed down and lacking any sources. It is not impressive or scholarly. You could do much better. I could do much better just to play devil's advocate. Please!

  • "Nobody ever said TAR was independent"

    >> yes, but unit45x said he wants independence to happen (he compared it to the Kosovo Independence thing). if a person recognizes Tibet as an autonomous region of China, then there's no place for him/her to promote any sort of independence or separation. if he/she wants independence to happen, then it doesn't really matter whether he/she did/didn't say "TAR is independent", now doesn't it?

  • Definitions:

Autonomy: The right or power to govern oneself; self-determination. It can be less than full independence, as in the case of an ethnic group that is granted autonomy within larger national confines.

Independent: Autonomous of political bodies, not controlled by outside forces.

    Draw your own conclusions.

  • 'ALL4China' sounds like the most SUPREMACIST tag I have heard in this entire dialogue

. You do not even deny it. I am not for any one group or people. I am for equality for all peoples. That is what differentiates the two of us!

  • "I want Tibet to be INDEPENDENT!"......"I am not for any one group or people"

    >>>i think you just canceled yourself out right there pal. go make more videos about other issues to make yourself sound more justified. don't only make a short tour around China and spread biased remarks about Her afterwards. have you extensively lived in China? i bet you haven't even experienced any struggles and moments of joy while you were there.

as for my name, read my profile info. you might understand.

  • fyi i know the difference between being "independent" and having "autonomy". but that's the confusing thing about you. a few messages ago, you said something like "China should be less harsh etc etc, because it's TAR after all". but just before that in the same comment, you wished for an "independent" Tibet. so which is it? more autonomy, or full independence?? but i know you prefer the latter since you said it later on, again. so don't talk about what is or isn't right for an autonomous region.

  • .....since you already have a subjective view about things.

China is not perfect, and it's fair to discuss issues about certain freedoms and rights. but you people jump on the political bandwagon and generally accuse China (with implications targeted not only to the government) of things that aren't happening (at least not anymore), or something that isn't even true.

  • I am not "you people". Stop generalizing so much. You are making a fool of yourself. I am not so easily put in a box. I do not ever blame people for what governments do. I understand the difference. Do you? You blame blame blame yourself. Try finding some middle ground. I am not anti-China. Everyone has a subjective view. It is inescapable. Don't deny it. At least I find out things for myself. I don't rely on any media.

  • ..most important countries? (you almost sound like a supremacist). if you're talking about powerful countries, then what about the fact that Russia and China alone do not recognize Kosovo as an independent country. but there are many other countries as well who don't recognize it, who has as much say as the other "most important" ones.

  • Kosovo is now independent and recognized by the international community. This can happen, and should for Tibet. China must show mercy and just stop being so cruel and harsh to the Tibetans. They could be more tolerant. The 'TAR' is for Tibetan Autonomous Region after all. China needs to back off! The Tibetans are neither violent or lazy.

  • Kosovo's "independence" is not recognized by all of the international community. it's an illegal separation.

however, i do know something that's recognized by all of the international communities, including the Western ones, and that is China's sovereignty over Tibet. even the Dalie himself said so, but as we all know, he's a big fat liar.

btw, "Autonomous Region" does not mean "independent".

  • Kosovo is a independent country after all. So haha to you. Tibet could do it too. 8 months later it is still just fine. Kosovo is going nowhere. All4China and none 4 you

  • Just as the sun set on the British Empire it also set on the USSR and so it will on the CCP! Empires come and empires go. China cannot force Tibet to submit to its will and expect any glory ever! As the people of China wake up, the CCP will be put down.

  • I KNOW China WILL KICK U.S. ASS. KILL ALL IT'S PEOPLE AND DESTROY OTHER 7 NATIONS ASWELL KILL ALL THEIR PEOPLE ASWELL.

  • Chinese are present day Nazis aka CHINazi. They are using the same methods to ethnically clean china of its minorities, Same kind of suppression-- millions of Tibetans have fled Tibet just like Jews fled during Hitlers time.

  • I made this video myself from video and photos that I took myself in Tibet. CNN is not involved. I wish they were, I would be making money and that would be cool, but seriously---CNN has nothing to do with me!!!

  • ykchmlbmh:

What do you mean when you say:

    Free the truth from CNN?????

We don't even know what you are talking about.

And...why are you spamming me about CNN???

    Why me????

  • dddragonxian

han chinese = communist = hitler = genocide

  • hitler=Dalai clique=CIA

  • Long live the FREE people of Tibet From Chinese oppression, violence and torture.

  • Chines occupation:

Over 1.2 million Tibetans have been killed

Over 6,000 monasteries have been destroyed

Thousands of Tibetans are still jailed for defending their basic rights

There is evidence that Tibet is being used to store nuclear waste

In Tibet, the Tibetans (6 million) have been outnumbered by the Chinese (7.5million)

Tibet, once a peaceful buffer state between India and China, has been turned into a huge military base.

  • I wish you had also included some photos of the pillar which has the Tibet-China Treaty of 821 A.D.

  • What is the pillar and the treaty of 821 A.D.? I doubt it justifies human rights abuses in 2008 or the twentienth century, but I am curious about it.

  • For the Tibet-China treaty of 821 A.D., inscribed on the stone pillar at the Jokhang temple, Lhasa, Google: Three Dharma Kings of Tibet. Click on the 1st link.

That stone pillar shows that the Chinese had a non-aggression treaty with Tibet in 821 A.D., meaning that Tibet is a FOREIGN LAND and NOT AN INTERNAL MATTER of China, like China claims. It is purely a military occupation by Chinese forces of a FOREIGN LAND.

  • Thanks for the info. Tibet is a foreign country from China; this treaty of 821 AD seems to confirm that historically. Very interesting!

  • You're welcome. The other thing that corroborates this fact, that Tibet is a foreign nation and not a part of China, is the location of the Great Wall of China, which was built to protect China from external attacks. Thanks for your video.

  • Dalai Lama=Osama Bin Ladin

  • His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso, is both the head of state and the spiritual leader of Tibet.

  • hey buddy, thanks for the message. nice video. By the way, right next to the temple you took the pictures. Monks have put on a riot last week. They killed over 10 civilians (mostly Han Chinese), burned down shops, chased Han Chinese and other tourists in the street with long knives ... I am sad to see the biased reports from CNN&BBC..again. They totally ignored the violence of these 'free tibet' terrorist-like protesters and keep accusing the Chinese cops for no reason!
