Sadly it does not auger well for her creditability, but it would be remiss to think that she'll say anything that could be possibly misconstrued as being in opposition to the McCain-Palin ticket. I think that Palin would rather stay in Alaska as W would have rather stayed in Texas and not as a president. He was appointed candidate and eventually president but I don't think he had too much room to choose otherwise. Now it's Palin's turn. She may be flattered, but she knows she is not up to par with the position. She is clearly a puppet, as W has been, so it's almost irrelevant to hear what she has to say. Behind them the same people are pulling the strings, and that's scary!

I think you're 100% right. It appears the nominee gets plucked up from someplace and hits center stage with all the cogs turning already. And then at the eleventh hour vp's get thrown in the mix and we are faced with the potential for a second-in-command that we never would have picked. But is Palin really worse than Dan Quayle? Or Cheney? Or Biden? I don't believe all the people that are foaming at the mouth over it.

Well, I imagine it goes on in both campaigns to some degree, but this Sarah Palin business is really just spin, and this is Cindy's version of the republican spin on Palin. I don't think anyone can say Palin is a qualified VP choice after seeing her interviews this week. It's really embarrassing and painful to watch. The Republican argument that she's qualified is really insulting to the voters' intelligence.
