Tane is a guy who was teaching at connan's high school when connan was there. I believe he mentored him a little. Then Tane booked bands at Bodega briefly in Wellington. Now he's in Palmerston North booking for a venue. Surely it's about him?

Tane is the Maori god of the Forests, Tane Mahuta is a 1200 year old Kauri tree in the Waipoua Forest, Tane Norton is a well-know All Black - Could be either or....
