Just because a guard is doing a job that requires him to ignore the mocking that takes place on a daily basis, does not mean they don't have the ability to do these things, there are set guidelines that state a guard can leave their post, of course this isn't one, but recently guards, have been in cordoned off areas to stop this occurring, If you want to mock a member of the 1st Battalion of the Scots Guards of the Guards Division, be prepared to face the consequences.

These guards are doing thier duties and they take them very seriously. I've been to London a few times, when I'm there it is like being invited to someone's home. I behave respectfully to people and almost everyone responds in kind. I don't stand there and gawk at the guards, and stay at least 10 feet away, This little snot showed disrespect for this man, and got off pretty easily.
