  • The chorus is killing me here..

  • shame you colored that nice tone with a chorus pedal.

  • would this sound good with distortion?

  • Zajebisty sprzęcik. Używałem kiedyś tego epi do Harmonijki ale byłem głupi i sprzedałem. Taraz już trudno bardzo dostać...

    Pozdrawiam!

  • @MrSzakall Valve Junior trudno dostać? Raczysz waćpan żartować. ;)

  • is this better than something like the fender super champ xd or the valvetronix 40+? also i know very little about amps, so if the head is 5w and the cabinet is 70w does that make it 75w?

  • @lawrence096 Not sure about the champ xd but it will sound better than any of the valetronix series. the combination of the head and cab doesnt make it 75watts. The greater the wattage on the cab the louder it will be able to go. You can't use a head that is over 70watts with this cab or it will blow :)

  • @willrivaldo my vibro champ xd is great, you can really dial into your sound but the gain sounds more like a solid state amp-not an over driven tube.

  • do you think this amp will be able to stand up to a drummer?it looks really nicw and has great sound but right now that is the limiting factor

  • I wanna upgrade from my crappy Line 6 amp, now that Ive decided that I really enjoy guitar playing. Do you guys think something like this would be able to handle a punk/fuzzy sound to it? I think with the right pedals...

  • @BonesAndBones Yeah man, I have some pedals and my epiphone VJ sounds amazing. You can check out some of my videos for the metal tone I got. Just if your wondering.

  • This stack is all tube right?

  • You've got sort of a Stevie Ray Vaughan tone going there man. I'm thinking of buying one of these.

  • Can you use two of these stacked together? From what I've heard you can't, but hopefully one of you will disprove this...

  • @modestvermin995 you can use 2 of any amp together. called bi-amping.

  • God combinations!

  • Hey, Im trying to decide to get this with the cab or Line 6 spider iv 75.Anybody help?

  • get this...its tube and will give you alot better tone than a line 6...remember line 6 are digital so basically any guitar sounds the same through it, if you want real tone, and nice tone definitely buy this amp

  • May I ask another question?

I'm kinda into the presets and stuff.

Have any opinions on spider valve 112?

Could u get the same tone on that as this since it has tubes? Thanks

  • not really. like i said the line 6 even though its tube is still digital.

the thing to think about is the fact that when your signal is coming out of your guitar through the cable its analog...the second you run into that digital amp you lose all the tone (which is the reason you bought a guitar) you worked for with you guitar. personally id still stick with this, it'll give you an edge in learning to craft your own sound and learning how to play with dynamics and make that work to your advantag

  • I used to have a spider 3, sold it and got one of these. Having all the onboard effects is fun, but for a nice clean sound nothing sounds better than tubes!

  • depends on what your budget is.

you can get this 'half stack" for probably the same price or less than e spider IV. but than you probably have to buy some effect pedals(distortion for example) because its just a basic volume controle on the epiphone amp. in the end youll probably pay more for the complete epiphone setup. but your sound will be better than with the spider IV

  • really depends what you want. this is just a valve amp with volume control. no EQ and no effects.

the spider is a modelling amp so it's gonna have ALOT more to play with, but the tone wont be as rich or as nice.

if you're looking at modelling amps consider the peavey vypyr series. although im not a fan of either, the vypyr seems to be better at what it does than the spider.

  • I don't like the sound of line 6s. Please don't buy a Line 6. You will want to return it after you have played with all the effects and realize there is like 1 of them you actually like.

  • @nmcclure79 uyup thats true, play trough a line 6 now, it sucks, and it was stupid to buy it, now i need to spent extra money :(

  • @nmcclure79 thanx guy i wanted to buy the spider iv but now u told me im not gonna ever buy it ill buy the epiphone... thanx again man...

  • the natural breakup on my epi tends to sound pretty harsh

  • if you put a 12at7 rather than a 12 ax7 it should smooth out some

  • I´m just beginer and I have this amp. It´s great.

  • good choice for a first amp.

  • @coughlintm mics up quite nicely too so it works for gigging to if you have that luxury.

  • Zastanawiam się jak to by grało z Les Paulem Gibsona:)

  • Ładnie to maleństwo brzmi ;) Granie też przyjemne.. Widzę tam efekt Koda hehe :D Swojskie klimaty ;) Digital delay? mam właśnie taki sam :P

  • Nice looking rig. I really dig the look of the Epiphone Valve Junior head and cabinet--stupid me bought the combo lol.

  • how is it im thinking of getting one of these

  • it's good, but I'd rather huck money into a higher end american amp...

  • Is there any sound difference?
