Hey Gypsy Rose! Look at all the attention we got on this one. What a squabble. OMG! lol.... normally, I only spot check the comments on each video, but do love them (mostly) when I do check. Just FYI - get real! How can I ever be lonely with these beauties living with me. I did delete a few of the more 'red flag' comments on this one mainly for my own amusement... basically, I ignore all this and just let the squabble rage on for pages and pages without every knowing about it :D

Oh, GR is so patient and sweet! She allows you to do everything to her because she's a good-tempered cat and loves you so much she completely trusts you.

Polly,on the other hand,was naughty enought when I had to do this, so she sat proudly while I had to perform a contortionist look-alike number to reach the right spot to cut...She looked at me as to say "Now what?I'm sitting here and YOU do all the work that should be done. I'm THE CAT after all." What a bossy spoiled kitty she is,sometimes!

@kitgibbslove You've just described Sahara and me locked in the bathroom. Usually she wins. Gypsy Rose can be quite adamant about me grooming around her hips and will swipe the brush right out of my hand, but she does allow a lot more than the others usu. do.

when the matts are close to the skin, do you try and work at them with your fingers before cutting them out or are you just verrrrry careful when snipping them off? And which method would you say is better/safer (and more tolerable kitty-wise)?

@ThetisKipp those are tough... VERY careful nips with the blunt nosed scissors sometimes works by breaking them up enough over time that they fall out or loosen so you can get under them. Elec. razor is prob. best and if it really looks tough, a trip to the vet and have them do it for you. A lot depends on how cooperative the cat is.

Gypsy Rose is such a sweetheart <3.. This is just another example of whats great about this channel. Its not always about how cute everyone is (which of course they are, always) but its informative as well. The perfect mix really.

do you do anything else than this? I mean, do you have a life outside of your cats? I'm not judging, I think you're doing amazing work. I love cats and I look up to you as a fellow cat lover. I'm just worried for your sanity! You HAVE to talk to HUMANS not just cats. The lack of interpersonal relations can lead to severe psychosis!

@sevensamurai69 LOL! Well, I did have a more or less sane life at one time -- with job and all that. I'm retired now, with medical issues, but life could be a lot worse. The cats give me companionship and many things to do every day, in addition to a few other pursuits I engage in. Oh, right, I do have a few human friends as well.

@mythicbells what I said probably sounded really rude and for that, I apologize. You just seem like such a sweet/caring/generous person and for you to be lonely seems like a crime... To be honest with you, I have had dreams about having a Persian cat of my own (very allergic/severe asthma) and so I was just being a little jealous. :)

you cant just judge someones life just by their videos... they do do others things like social,shopping,recreation there is a few hours of free time a day after work and don't forget the weekends...very small minded you are. "most" people have a passion, if someone like making plane models are you going to question his or her life too?or a person that loves working out everyday makes him sad too? not a lot of people find passion or enjoyment in daily basis..
