  • @GlobalLyricalIl I am trying to teach myself at home so I can play at my church.

  • @GlobalLyricalIll I wish I had a Hammond. I have an electronic keyboard made by CASIO that I ordered out of a music magazine about 2 years ago. The keyboard has everything on it to teach yourself how to play but I can't catch on.You might as well say it's still new because I never use it. I was encouraged when I saw it in the magazine. I was thinking it was easy to teach myself to play but it's not. I need to use it tho, this key board costs me a good piece of money. :-)

  • It's so hard trying to teach myself to play. :(

  • Hello my channel then know of chords and harmony GOSPEL ..

Hope you enjoy and subscribe to help promote my videos ..

I count on the kindness and help you;.....

    thank you and god bless

  • So kind of you to do this...LOVE your playing...blessings!!!!

  • thanx alot god bless you , this video was truly a blessn for me, keep doing what you are doing for the lord

  • You are great blessing to me. Thank for sharing your awesome gift :)

  • Thanks for this vid! These are the chords I've always heard musicians play, but could never figure it out!

  • Nice video. It's amazing what can be done with tritones. Helps chromatic harmonies when the perfect fifth is omitted. EX: Tritone E-Bb can take either a C or Gb (flatted fifth in the pedal) You've got some great sound going on in your video.

BTW the word PERFECT as in PERFECT Fifth implies the words "hollow or empty" (From the Greek) If you omit the fifth all kinds of interesting ideas can begin to surface.

  • Thank you so much for this... U r Anointed and awesome... Glory to God!!!

  • I need your DVD and I need it ASAP!! The sista here is struggling....................some horrible!!

  • thank you my brother for gracing that hammond...i will indeed start playing preaching progressions in Ab now cuz mine are outdated lol..GOD BLESS

  • Good heavens, that may just be the biggest organ I've ever seen.

  • @Morrisseyisdead do you think that's big?

you ain't know what big is fellow, for a hammond it's big indeed but

for the normal organs it's small LOL

  • yes that is so true, ask them anything about playing music and they would roll there eye's at you great lesson thanks

  • I'm a pro musician and I'll tell you what I like about this lesson. You don't need to know music theory to learn what is being played. Every note is shown to you. It's very hard to find lessons of this quality and this authentic. One would have to know alot of music theory to know what the chords are and how to build them including the voicings as they apply to this style. I just love this. You see Robin Ford and others teach the same way. Congrats and Thanks for the fabulous lesson.

  • That was excellent. My only question is I dont have an organ @ the church I attend will it still have the same sound without the foot bass?

  • Now all i need is to get a B3 :)

  • Finally a real breakdown. You are amazing bro. To many people wanna flex technique in their vids with little or no explanation and then call it a lesson. May God continue to bless you.

  • @dArmanProductions

    I totally agree.

  • maybe some people dont kno how to explain what they do. I kno i cant explain half the stuff i do. Some people jus not teachers. And most people didnt go to school for it so u cant blame them for not knowing how to teach. We dont have the gift to teach anyway. We have it to praise Jesus. U should be thankful when somebody show u something cause they dont have to. Im not a teacher i jus kno how to play.

  • @rampagedakilla, If you are somehow offended then I apologize, but everything we do should honor and praise God. That doesn't mean we can't or shouldn't share our knowledge with others. Give what you have and I guarantee God will bless that sacrifice. I've been involved with music for a long time and some of the most egotistical musicians I know are church musicians. Not all of them, but quite a few. Most of my knowledge of theory came outside of church, but I share what I know with whoever.

  • yea i feel ya church musicians are the most selfish. Expecially the cocky ones. Dont understand it cause u cant take it to the grave wit u once u die

  • @dArmanProductions Thank you... I think that is wonderful... I agree with you on what u said...

  • I pray that God hovers his great gift of music ova me tha sound of tha organ just does sumn to me

  • Oh my Lord!!! This is truely helpful!! I thank you for putting this on Youtube!!! I'm a young keyboardist...keyboard has spoiled me...I transpose an awful lot...but I can see perfectly the way you hit those chords. I play by ear. I'm glad I found this! I HAVE to subscribe youu! I'm learning soo much!

  • Praise the lujuh!

  • If I taught myself those chords I'd end up shouting to my own music (so I sent this clip to a good friend of mine who is learning how to play). All I can say is MY GAWD! Those are what we call "DELIVERANCE" chords!!!!!!!!!! Yes Suhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • one word! AMAZING!

Those chords are beautiful and rich. Thank you!

  • I heartily recommend Kenny's tutorials and DVDS. They are worth the money, and my playing has improved.

I also understand the theory behind the chords so much better than before.

  • excellent teaching thanks for sharing and being a b lessing

  • thank you for the help!

  • I just wanted to let you know that I am so excited to have found this clip! You break down what others do so fast and do not explain as good as you do! I will definately be using these progressions! Please keep up the posts!
