@zooch79 It's not odd, because the name of their rain god was not "Chalk"! It was Chaak.
What are you implying? That their rain god was supposedly white (like chalk)? lol! That's funny.
I hope you're not yet another Eurocentrist trying to claim Mayan (and other Native American) civilizations? Goodness, please, do not do that. lol! It's embarrassing for you. :)
@Northax No no no... chalk... like dry chalk... as opposed to wet rain... jeez.. Maybe I should have used ironic? maybe try not to take yourself so seriously... Eurocentric? come on... Are you serious? You probably have a lot of political bumper stickers on your car.:)
@zooch79 Oh, ok. Sorry if I was incorrect, and I did jump the gun a bit. If you've not heard, there are "Eurocentrist" propagandists on the 'net trying to make people believe that the original "Native Americans" were white men. LOL! I was in other video forums on YouTube debating them just the other day. I keep an eye out for stupid crap they try to spread.
Either they say white man build Mayan, Inca and Aztec empires, or aliens from outer space! LOL! So pathetic to claim this.
@zooch79 Anyway, I don't think their name "Chaak" has any relation to the English word "chalk". They only somewhat look similar, that's about it. I'd assume their definitions differ quite a bit. lol The same said for many words in all different languages, you'll find similarities in their spelling, but their meanings will be almost totally opposite to each other.
In regards to them "vanishing" .....,,some say they left the planet all together ..,,,some say they just died out ,but there no evidence of this... so we dont know either way//.... in my opinion they did leave earth ;)
How is 600 men for the whole country proving difficult to conquer? When there were 11 million they said.
