  • Going to get this at some point to replace my Intel Pentium Dual Core E5300.

However first things first and thats a new graphics card!

  • the bottom of the fan there is 2 strips of gray, is it thermal paste? i have the intel core 2 duo 3mb 45nm, the bottom of the fan has 3 gray strips. i also thought that the package comes with thermal paste and the manual does not say if i need to by it.

  • @swatmarksman61995 - Yes thermal paste should come preapplied to the heatsink.

  • The I3 and I5 dual core are most definitely superior to the aging Core 2 Duo series (Which I believe have been discontinued). However, many games only take advantage of 1 or 2 cpu cores at max. As a result, a Core 2 Duo running at higher clock speeds than the Core 2 Quad will perform better. It's when you start getting into applications where multiple cores can be utilized that we can see the advantage of having 4 cores over 2. When this video was made, the Core 2 duo was better for gaming...

  • where is the intel sticker????? :(

  • rawr u shoulda got a core 2 quad...core 2 duo's r shit

  • @POPCORN454545 - I have a Core i7, and C2D's are not s*it.

  • @arvutihull lol..aww...to pussy to swear?..but besides...C2D'S are...shit..yes they are..amd athalons were way better..but then intel stepped up and made the core2 quad..and that smahed amd into the ground..plz read up on cpu history.....u noob

  • @POPCORN454545 - You're calling me a noob? What a joke... many people don't need a C2Q CPU, C2D is cheaper so it's a better choice. Now a Core i3 or Core i5 would be a better choice though... And for sure Intel's E8000 series CPUs are faster than AMD Athlon's when comparing both at the same clock speed, much better OC also.

  • @arvutihull - And did you call me a pussy? If so, I'm sorry but I have to block you (which means unsubscribing also).

  • @arvutihull awwww i bet he is SOOO offended that you did that to him.. lol faggot, he was right, you ARE a pussy. go ahead, block me, i don't give a fucking shit.

  • @DarkSoldier1998 - You got what you wanted... have a nice day.

  • @arvutihull OKAY.... your all gay cunts! i had a blow job one day hahahah :D jks im not one of them fags

core 2 duos are not 'shit' they are upper low range... Pentium m's are SHIT! i7 is nice, amd's x4 64 are good. c2d are pretty goood!

@arvutihull I BET U FUCKING USE ATOM CUNT HAHAHA

  • @POPCORN454545

    your mum is shit

  • @MrRedsn0w lol....fuckin brit stfu....core 2 duos blow

  • where did u get it. i want to buy one for my games plz tell me where you buy it

  • @101Ryandude - It wasn't my CPU but it was bought from a local retailer in Estonia.

  • get a mac

  • @bxvitor - No thanks.

  • @arvutihull you made the right decision

  • @arvutihull windows are better

  • i hat the new Intel heat sinks the old ones were better

  • #COOL

  • decime el precio de ese procesador x mensaje privado joder nadie me contesta

  • does it comes with thermal paste on it/

  • Yes.

  • Yes, but cheap thermal compound/paste.

And with a good C2D, C2Q, C2QE etc, why bother using a stock cooler anyway :P

I got myself a CM Hyper N520 and used the CM thermal compound, I have some good Akasa thermal compound lying around aswell.

  • amd is better in gamming

  • fail.

  • @thefarazch nope intel is.

  • PENTIUM

  • cual es mas rapido

    pentium 4 2.3 ghz o

dual core 2 duo 1.6 ghz

cual es mas rapido alguien k me responda!

  • LOL! the box is that small! i thought it was gonna be huge when i saw the bestbuy pic and yay my pc fits the requirements

  • AMD Phenom 2 720x3 is better than core 2 duo e8400 :D

  • where can i see what motherboard do i have and does it fit with intel core 2 duo e8400? im not good in this stuff please help!

  • If you want to know what motherboard you have download a program called CPU-Z and check the ''Mainboard'' section.

  • look at 0:55

if it isnt lapped, why is it shiny? my e8400 wasn't shiny when i took it out of the box, and why was the seal already broken on the box?

  • its not a real unboxing. the cpu is lapped

  • CPU wasn't lapped.

  • guys when u overclock the cpu it will have less life time? how it works?

  • CPU will have less life-time only when you increase the core voltage.

  • ok, i buy a dual core but my motherboard don't support it, so i got to buy a new mother board Intel BOXDG31PR LGA 775 Intel G31 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard i can't effort more money by now, cuz i have to buy 2 a memory ram for it its like $100 total, and this month i spent like $200 i have no job lol im 17 so my mom is going to kill me when ii tell her that the board doesn't support the processor lol so i want to overclock my single core but idk if i can

  • stupid video.

  • LoL, you don't even have videos...

  • yeah this is real, but this video not help with anything

  • Why should an unboxing video be helpful...?

  • man you just want to brag

  • The point of an unboxing video is to show what comes in the box. If you find something stupid in this video it's your own problem.

  • i'm getting one this wednesday.. can't wait!!

  • Just got this baby. Runs Far Cry 2 on ultra settings and Crysis on High, no problem.

  • with a good graficscard like ati hd470-4890 it wil play any game on its highest you will have to overclock a bit to get that job done though my e8400 runs on a stable 4,2 ghz so its possible!

  • Well yeah, I'm using a 9800gt so...:p

  • I go buy this one, can i play games with the standard cooler?

  • Yes.

  • y dont u get quad core?

  • Well bohoo, I'd follow this advice if I wanted to run Photoshop with a 10 Meter Dimention file, but since I won't Ill just stick to the Dual-Core.

  • WOW

  • Very Nice Video But and CPU but shit heatsink intel make shit heat sinks i would recomend getting a custom one get the Zalman 9700nt i have it Great cooler 5/5

  • that's very good processor...

    I have one.

  • you're videos are very good

  • Thanks! :-)

  • Are there supposed to be pins on the bottom of it?

  • thats for amd,for intel the pins are on the motherboard.

  • really cuz my old processor intel celeron socket 478 has pins and i bents 3 and broke one my pc is with intel celeron but socket 775 and havent opened it yet so there is no risk of benting or braking pins now ?

  • yea no need to worry now but do check that does the motherboard have pins.

You ahve another risk btw,of bending the motherboard pins while installing the processor.

Please install it carefully and read the instructions given in the manual.

  • just to mention but isnt the socket 478 prehistoric? lol :P

  • Comment removed

  • Phenom 2 X4 940 would be faster.

  • Comment removed

  • nice it is 3,33 GHz ??

  • Thanks, it's 3GHz.

  • okay ^^

  • What would be better buy this e8400 a e5200 or one of the new upcoming amd phenom ii x2's bye performance/price not just performance

  • Currently E8400 but you should wait to see how good the Phenom X2's will be because they're not released yet.

  • mk thanks

  • Lol the heatsink on that is pretty small :P

Especially compared to the i7s...and people barely use the stock heatsink on those :D

    Planning on any overclocking?

  • Yes, Core i7 stock heatsinks are huge compared to this one.

I didn't overclock it, I used to build a PC for my friend with it and he doesn't want overclock - default speed is enough for his games.

  • Ah ok, fair enough... I plan on going hard with my i7 (when i get it :D)

overclocking to 4ghz, possibly 4.1, with 2 gtx 285s in SLI... DW ITS GOING TO BE WATERCOOLED :P

  • I'm running my i7 920 at 4,1GHz atm... with water cooling you should be able to run 4,4 for benching.

  • Sweet, can't wait :P

  • Is the included cooler loud or is it fine?

  • It's pretty fine.

  • Ok thanks,I'm gonna get it :P

  • i have this cpu very good in gaming

  • wow you guys are cool. who cares about the price its the preformance of the chip that makes the diffrence

  • nice video i have this Processor

  • thanks

  • @cjdirectblog123 i hav the E7200 one which has a clock speed of 2.53

  • i have this

  • Awsum vid

  • Thanks!

  • Which stepping did you get just wondering?

  • it only comes in C0 stepping.

  • No the new ones are E0

  • hi i am going to build my 1st gaming pc and i am not sure wad parts to buy for a gaming pc and the ram, hard disk and etc u mind helping me out?

  • yes, what's the price range?

  • ermm abt $1600SGD

  • I don't know how much US dollars it is but for 1600 US$ I would recommend:

    Intel Core i7 920 - $310

    Asus X58 P6T-Deluxe - $310

    Corsair XMS3 triple-channel 1333mhz - $250

    150GB Velociraptor - $155

    Diamond ATI Radeon 4870 X2 - $480

Case - something what you like (below 100$)

Total cost of these parts: 1505$

    Prices from newegg.

  • ermm can the intel quad core fit in the asusx58 P6T-Deluxe? and which core is better intel quad core or the intel core i7 920?

  • core i7 is much better - 35% faster!

  • you mean that Phenom 2's are 2 times faster than Core i7's? Cool joke kid...

  • Phenoms > i7 for budget, but if you have enough money to waste, i7 > Phenom

  • agreed!

  • intel core2 quad does not fit intel corei7 socket 1366 boards because intel core 2 is using LGA775 and Nehalem is using SOCKET 1366.

Corei7 is way better but corei7 will cost you double like if a core 2 quad builds costs 1 thousand dollars the corei7 will cost 1600+

  • is velociraptor the hard disk? and which 1 is the ram?O.O the xms3?^.^

  • yes, velciraptor is the hard disk and ram is the XMS3.

  • oh ya all this parts u tell me it is compatable with the mother board rite?

  • everything I said is fully compatible - you can just buy the stuff and enjoy your machine :)

  • oic THX alot!^.^ i am going to buy those parts from a shop in a week time^.^ when i build it i will take a video of it! and shwo it to u!^.^ thx

  • does it have thermal paste on it or do you need to buy your own?

  • the stock cooler has thermal paste on it.

  • oh, cause i just bought a full gaming rig (in parts, not pre-built) and people on the internet told me i must go buy thermal paste, because if it has no thermal paste my cpu will fry.

I don't want to risk it, are you 100% sure my e8400 has thermal paste on it? (it's not OEM)

    thanks

  • your cpu will definately not fry, but you can't overclock it with that stock cooler. If you are buying a new cooler in future i'm pretty sure that the thermal paste will come with it.

  • im not concerned about overclocking yet, i just had a HUGE upgrade and im happy with it (went from a 7500 LE/2gb ram 667mhz/e6300 to 4870/4gb 800mhz/e8400 ^^)

so you're saying i can build my pc right now and it will boot np without danger? even if it doesn't have thermal paste?

  • if you don't have thermal paste you must get it. Without it temps will be dangerously high.

  • hea video 5/5 ühte asja ma vihkan... seda et intel topib selle stock jahuti karpi. noh nendele kes ei osta mingit teist jahutit on see kasulik aga nendele kes ostavad on see lihtsalt raha maha pildumine :)
