If i remember the English were the first to bomb Germany, not military sites but residental, called the Lindemann Plan so the battle of Britain being put forth as the Nazi's attacking the innocent English civilians is a lie, I'm not sympathetic to the German cause but truth is truth
@mikeoli In a war situation it really doesn't matter who strikes who and when, the German's were going attack the English eventually one way or the other. Great point though, they are usually thought of the only aggressors in WWII, but this was not always true.
Your truth is wearing blinders. Germany bombed Poland/Polish civilians first, and because the Poles couldn't continue to strike back of their own accord after being defeated, Britain did so on their behalf (the Poles' fate of course being the very reason Britain entered the war). The moment Germany raped the Poles, all gloves were off.
And for the record, the ‘Lindemann plan’ was adopted in March of 1942. The British bombings over Germany in 1940 had nothing to do with it.

That has to be the most blinkered following of UK propaganda I've heard in a long time, even school children know that's not the reality!
For a interesting read do a search of "Standard Oil, I.G. Farben, Synthetic Rubber, Synthetic Gasoline."

Would have liked to have seen something about Sherman tanks and Panzers and oil.
