If you watched all of star trek you'd understand. As a whole the prometheus is a powerful ship but also not very manoveable.

By splitting, all the ships become more agile, with shield power staying the same, each section has its own regenerative sheiding. Also more firepower is unleashed, when split up, each ship has another 2 lasers, levelled at class 3, which are otherwise hidden when the ship is as one.

Three pieces, three.

First off, each section is fitted with its own warp core, unlike the Galaxy Class which piloted this design.

Second, it forces an enemy to spread its own weapons fire thinner than it normally would.

Third, it allows the Prometheus to have more phaser emitters , and to tax enemy shields by not allowing them to concentrate shielding in one area.

Its not four separate ships it is three separate ships, plus it is an experiment to see whether or not it is a good idea. Some may argue your point but seeing as how quickly it dispatched the Romulan ship it seems a very functional and stable ship design.

I would have to agree. I only liked him, Tovok and Seven. Everyone else was pretty fucking annoying. Especially Wrongway Janeway. I think they ONLY promoted her to Admiral to keep her off a starship so she wouldn't wreck the Alpha Quadrant the way she did the Delta. I pity any Federation Starships heading out there in 20 years and meet all the aliens she pissed off.

I do respect Robert Beltran for having the balls to tell the Beebs how crappy the scripts were on a regular basis.

In the series pilot, the mission was to search and destroy the Maqui in accordance of treaty with the Cardassians. THAT IS NOT STAR TREK! There mission is to seek out new lifeforms and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before. It should have been on that premise from the beginning.

To elaborate on what I posted earlier, Andy gave drugs to Phil Hartman's wife. Later she would end up killing Phil and herself, and traumatizing their children. He also instigated the week long binge of drinking with David Strickland that resulted in the latter's suicide. Check his Wikipedia entry. The mans been arrested for fondling an underage girl and attempted rape. He may even be connected to Chris Farley's demise.

Mmmm...not quite...Phlox is one of those Denobulans, and he only needs to sleep 1 week per terran year. Who know what other physiological changes he has other than humans. He might have male and female genitalia, and husbands he hasn't mentioned. Overall, he is just waaaaay too flamboyant to not be bisexual, much like Hugh Grant is.

You can disagree with me, but I'm pretty sure Phlox enjoys the company of men. Don't misunderstand, I love Enterprise and Phlox is a pretty cool guy, but he's gay.
