beware: this method doesn't add songs on top of the existing songs on your iphone. It deletes all songs on your iphone and replaces them with the songs on the playlist in your pc. Not great if recently reformated your pc and all your songs were on your iphone.

@ian123412 Finally figured THAT out myself. I created a new playlist and dragged all the single songs I liked to that playlist. Here he shows you how to sync playlists to your IPhone by going to your music tab. I sync'ed that particular playlist. I had the same issue as you for the longest! UGH

iphone sucks for ipod. Apple has to have control over everything and with itunes it limits what can be done. yes you apple heads apple restricts the activity you can do.
